@Luís Augusto Exactly. It's the same with Non-Celebs. I am 177,5 cm which is about 5'9 and 7/8 so pretty close to 5'10. All my friends who are the same height as me claim that they are 6 foot - my friends who are about an inch shorter than me claim to be 5'11. They say that my height can't be true and that I had to be 6 foot cause otherwise it wouldn't match with their height and even tall women who are about 5'7 or 5'8 tell me that I can not be 5'10 cause they believe they are 5'10.
I think that when women say that a man has to be 6'0" or taller it's the average 5'10 they mean, cause that is what they know as 6'0.
@Luís Augusto No, I am 100% sure :D. I am 32 and I don't think I have grown since yesterday. And I know how to measure my self correctly. Not that hard with a stadiometer. Most people don't know their real height.

@@avikal3090 yeah the point is that the rock looks 6'2 there and shaq 7'0 or maybe even more. But at his age and after a long career he's probably struggling for the 7'0 mark these days. It's a bad photo for Dwayne but there's still no way he's even remotely in the atmosphere of 6'5.

My mom used to claim the same, but now, at 53, shes like 5'2.5"
She most likely didn't shrink full 2" at 55 unless she's been obese for a while. Your mom probably measured 164 or something at the doctor's when younger and probably rounded it up to 165cm like many people do. I think her low was probably 163cm and now her low is 160cm.

Hey Rob I’m 5’9 1/3” or so fresh out of bed. After a long day and even some weight lifting I’m around 5’8 3/4”. I’m gonna claim 5’9” what would you claim at this height?
Do it...I'm in the same situation at 16 in the morning I'm 5'9 1/2" (176.5) and in the night I'm 5'8 3/4" (174.5) I also claim 5'9 (175.2)
But if I grow closer to 5'10 where as in the morning I'm 178.5 and 176.5 in the night a good 177 would be right so I would be a little lower then 5'10 around 5'9 3/4"

Hello, I'm 20 and unlike my dad and granddad i haven't started growing a beard and body hair like them (yet, but very slowly it's showing) where they started at 18 (I do have leg hair and pubic hair). I out grew them in height however. Is it anyway likely of me growing taller a few inches? I am active, like jogging everyday and doing natural body weight excersizes.

Sometimes, few days in the week (like today) I measured myself in the morning 179.5cm or 179.7cm and in the evening 178-178.5cm. I do not know what is about. Im a bit confused. During holidays when I was sitting on my computer long day (with no good posture, so as the same as ma typical school day) my father measured me and I was around exactly 180.5cm at morning (maybe 180.3cm) and in the evening I was 178.5cm. I do not know what is happening right now, I am eighteen and Im still growing but slower. Maybe my shorter height now is beacause of that I sleep less hours than during the holidays and I havent suited with schooltime yet? Should I claim 179cm as my height? Tell me please (I have also a "S" shape scoliosis, around 30°; I started to do exercises do improve my posture). What height should I claim?

I agree. Rob always gets heights wrong and seems to give every actor a height boost of at least 2''. Literally every big name actor he has listed their heights wrong and makes them taller than they are. For instance I’m 6’1.25, my dad is exactly 5’7,and my mom is 5’4.5...and according to my doc I’m still growing and will end up at 6’2-6’3 range.
While my parents are definitely not tall, my uncles however are both 6’1,my aunts are 5’7/5’8, my great grandpa was 6’5,and my great great grandpa was somewhere between 6’6.5-6’8.

Good point but believe it or not there are male celebs above 6 foot who still lie about their height like the Rock and Andre the Giant. The Rock claims 6’5” but he is like 6’2.5” and Andre the Giant was listed at 7’4” when he was really 6’10”. Celeb Heights is sure a Paradox.

It depends on genetics (your race) over all. Fore exemple, me (a north african), I was much shorter than you at your age (around 5ft4)...but today, at 42, I'm 6ft1 out of bed and 6ft before bed....so, depending on your race, you can expect an adult height going from 5ft8 to 6ft3 (too wide range to predict your height precisely, so wait and see, my friend ;) )
Around 6'1 based on personal observations I once knew a couple where the guy was around 5'5 and the wife was 5'8 all their kids were 6'1-6'3
