I don't know where your farm is, but in my area, in Tinamastes (1/2 hour from Pérez) we have a seed exchange/plant sale, etc. We,are having our 8th one this month, on the 25th, if anybody who reads this is interested you are most welcome to come and get all kinds of treasures.

We are in Las Esperanzas, surrounded by cow herders and pretty much no foreigners. Our neighbors have absolutely no interest in growing anything, just getting a quick buck from cow resell. Lots of petty thieves, too - we were robbed twice already, one of those was our electric meter, the other one all our gardening tools. Very sad. Hope it changes in the coming years because the soil is super fertile and grows things that don’t grow as well anywhere else in the world, people don’t realize they have rough diamonds in their hands, just need to educate themselves a little bit…

good work in progress, looks a nice peace of ground how big is your planting area! I beleave that if u try the method of syntropic agriculture with ground covering, mulshing, compost your garden will grow happy and U guys, with less worries.. maybe you can do a video of all around your area, and share with us some of your vews, for the dream garden? than i can have some idea about, and will be good for the coments and subscriv.. have a good time🐾

Thank you for your feedback! There is a problem with mulching in the tropics, you can only mulch during the dry season, and remove it during the wet season. Sure, we are going to utilize all the organic and biodynamic practices here but we’re very lucky, our soil is already super rich with amazing fertility, biodiversity and lots of worms in every shovelfull! So not as much to do to amend the soil, unlike in Florida. Poco poco, little by little it will come alive)
