The most satisfiying thing about the video is that you've helped that poor animal out of its suffering because it can do nothing for itself in that situation and you sir are a true hero.
💯% AGREE! Thank you sir!!!!’🫶🏻
My sentiments exactly 😊🙏
Yessss totally agree!! That’s my favorite part about these types of videos since they are so helpless without humans to take care of these types of things❤️❤️
I grew up on a farm. At age 3 I had my first disagreement with my father about a cow. They make different sounds for different reasons. Pain is something they feel, and all animals do. Farmers don't usually call the vet, they take care of things if they can. I stood my ground, "Please call the vet, she is in pain". No animal should suffer when there are meds for them. Thanks, Dad for calling. From then on Dad had pain the meds. I miss the farm and my Dad.
Growing up on a farm myself I understand your sense of loss. You will always have the memories of it all xx
No wonder grandparents that grew up on farms are so stubborn
I have had an access, please stop poking it, the pain is unbearable...Lance it as soon as possible.

Thank you so much for helping this poor girl! I can’t imagine the pain they must feel and can’t say anything. We appreciate all that you do for those creatures.

Honestly, I am mostly watching for the accents!!!! But having grown up on a farm, I so appreciate your care and kindness for animals!
I've had an abscessed tooth before and it's some of the worst pain I've ever had to deal with. Just absolute agony. Having to walk around on it like this poor girl must have been such a nightmare! Thank you for all the wonderful care you guys give and help relieve such a massive amount of pain and suffering.
I have too!!! I knoooow I think the same thing, poor babies
Did you get an apiectomy? I had an abscess above my right front tooth and all I could do was rock back and forth in pain. My dentist cut open the gum and scraped out all the infected bone around the top of the tooth and packed it with cadaver bone material to regrow the bone around the tooth root. She saved my tooth for sure. Crazy stuff! Not fun at all. People complain about getting root canals and honestly, root canals are NBD.
Yes I've had one of those, it's not pleasant at all. Even after ringing my dentist for an emergency it was almost a week. In the meantime I got so desperate I dug out some codeine tablets that I had left over from an operation some years before. They worked wonders by the way, but I wouldn't advise driving on them :)
Incidentally, by the time I was in the dentists chair, the infection had gone away... I must have a decent immune system. I ended up having root canal on the tooth, which failed, and then it was later extracted - luckily it was a tooth at the back and not visible so I live with it.
I had 3 abscesses teeth at the same time. One bottom middle and one on each side. I was in horrible pain for months. Those teeth were removed.
TWO ABCESSED WISDOM TOOTH
Lovely to watch how kind and caring you are to these animals. Respect from South West Scotland.
Do put up in stall for about week to get use to the off load resting for healing
Thank you ever so for helping her! Poor thing! Your job is extremely important! Where would these gentle animals be without your help?! You're doing great works! Please don't ever think you're not!
I love how you take the time to pet her.
I love hearing them talk to each.
"Hurry up Doris, I want to get back out to pasture"
"Back off Ethel, I'm getting my mani/pedi, wait your turn ya old cow"
"Sheesh Doris, don't get your udder in an uproar, the man is doing his best. Hey uh, Mr.Hoof guy, mind giving me a quick scratch on my old rump while you're back there, thanks"
Its a cow in heat lol they bellow like crazy when in heat
@@kimlindner4033 I like my take on the conversation better 😆
She even looked back to say” wow, I feel much better, thanks, Garett!” 🥳
Are you Irish?
I love watching how careful and efficient you are. Also, great bedside manner.😃
This is the first time watching you and I subscribed!! I like you, Sir. I’m 73 and haven’t had livestock in almost 34 years but I truly appreciate a gentleman who sincerely cares about the animals in his charge. Looking forward to watching much more.
this job must give you great satisfaction it’s very satisfying to watch you clean away all the gunk and gore to give the animal instant pain relief and the support needed for complete healing and stability
Aw, bless her sweet little heart! Thank you for taking care of her!
You have a heart of an angel...and your mission for caring for these animals goes without saying. We thank you for caring
I have NO idea how this ended up in my feed, but I'm so glad it did! This was really cool. Such care and professionalism with the cow. Can't imagined how relieved she must be!
Same here 😊
Scwidgy….not a word you can use in many conversations, but it’s perfect here😊. Thank you so much for helping this dear Lady❤❤
it always cracks me up when people 1000s of miles away seem to think they know more then you or your other hoofers know, great job , i am sure the cattle thank you
@Karl Childers mmhmmm

@Karl Childers lol I was stringing you along pretty good though
@Karl Childers know* knew is like when you get knew shoes or a car.
That was so loud - I heard it all the way over here in Western Australia!!. I had an amazing sense of relief, too💛💚
Lol 😆
Canberra too!!
Thank you for your understanding and caring for cows❤️
I always get a kick out of the RUclips experts. Always telling, never asking or even being mindful of the fact that the experts we’re watching, actually ARE experts. Never fails. Doctors, survival guides, dermatologists, and now even hoof trimmers are all being questioned by pseudo intellectuals.
I really love watching and how technology has come along for holding the animal still. Great video sir!!!!
Oh, that poor girl! I know she must be feeling so much better now.
The cow looks like it's starving to death.. In sure it'd rather be slaughtered.
Another relieved customer. Literally and metaphorically.
Thank you for sharing this information. This poor cow had to have been a lot of pain
.
I’m grateful for the work you do and for the provisions from these animals. They deserve so much more respect than they get.
It's really nice to see someone help the animals like you thank you
It's talking to you, saying," Thank you for opening this up. It was getting rather crowded in there." Poor cow, having to walk on that. even for an hour!such incredible animals!
I got a idea for a video. Ask Tom to describe what hoof trimming was like when he started and what he would have done differently than the methods you currently use.
It's nice to see the cow relieved
Man, I can't imagine walking around on that foot. Great work!
What a relief for the poor cow 🐄 thank you for educating me on what you do to help these animals
Well done for relieving her pain having had an abscess myself in my jaw I know the relief when it pops 😮💨
Thanks to you guys for compassionate care helping the animals out. I hope it’s as rewarding for you knowing you are appreciated.
That was amazing to see the relief for that cow. Because of you she is feeling 💯 percent better
The thing that I love the most about this video is the fact that he says hopefully we get a good one before I’m off to lunch meeting most of their cows are extremely healthy and not in pain this is a good channel thank you subscribed
Sir Gareth I am so glad your videos are in full glorious color. I am still in awe just how delicately you wield those sharp instruments! Thank you for posting!
awe thank you for being so caring.....she looked so comfy after 💙
Hello 👋 from New York USA Thank you for all you're hard work take the Cow's 🐄 Pain Away 😊
Just love it when the cow looks back as if to say thank you. Hope you enjoyed your lunch - peanut butter sandwiches 🥪🥪😋
This is the first time I’ve seen your channel. That was amazing! Thank you for getting her out of pain. I’ll be keeping an eye out for your videos from here on out.
Thank you for helping this poor girl and taking care of her abscess and making her feel better ❤️❤️
That was very informative! I had no idea that cows had their hooves trimmed! Or got such nasty hoof infections. Must feel good to help them! Thanks for the video!
All this lunch talk got me so hungry!
With all that preamble I was half expecting a gusher, but it still was satisfying to see the poor big momma getting help!
The only thing missing from this video was Tom's "MOOVE!!" in the intro, it kinda isn't the same without.
Instant relief! How gratifying is it to help cows feel so much better and be more healthy, Garth? I’m sure it’s immense! You didn’t put me off my meal. I’m a nurse,
So glad the girlie got that crap out. Thanks for taking care of her.
I can't imagine having that infection. So painful. Thanks for helping her.
Great job Gareth…she must have been so relieved. We humans would be shouting from the rooftops with an abscess like that!
🥰🐄
Fantastic! I know that her hoof, feels better now!
Before 2020: Ew gross why would anyone watch this?
2022: I can't relax until I watch a hoof trimming video.
😂
Poor cow 🐄 Thanks for helping & caring for your animals properly. I'm sure once that pressure was released, it felt much better 👍❤️
You guys are miracle workers!!! I love people who help animals😁❤️👍 That poor girl must've been in so much pain. You can tell she was expecting it to hurt when first released. Then, she realizes ... "Oh, it's better now". And starts walking away .😊🐮
Great video, thanks for sharing!
I feel like these dudes need to have more then 100k subscribers cause they wake up everyday to do this and this work isnt easy and they teach you soo mich about cows feet
As some what of a hoof trimming expert from my experience in youtube, I learnt something new with the grooves cut for the glue to stick better. Always be man enough to acknowledge you don't know it all and can still learn even with my extensive expertise.
Great video. That was a really squidgy hoof. Glad you got it fixed up for her. She was walking great on that foot. I hope you enjoyed your lunch after that trim.
Thankyou and God Bless you for helping this Poor baby out with her foot. I know what sore feet feel like myself..
Such a patient moomoo. Fantastic job.
I always get so excited to see the notification for your videos you guys are awesome your friend from America
You people seem so caring and friendly its hard to find such people in the U.S like that
I don't take offense to your comment but felt I had to share, I used to work on a commercial hog farm and me and my fellow workers took pride in how we cared for our animals and though we have had the occasional no do gooders and I either transferred them or just outright fired them the general everyday care on our site was good to great.
bless you for taking the pain away from these humble animals 🥰
Instant relief alright, that looked nasty, great job Gareth, hope you enjoyed your lunch, thank you for posting, and take care.👍💙🐄
Once again THANK YOU FOR HELPING THESE POOR Animals with their pain
Watched a lot of the Hoof Doctor's channel so this wasn't much of a surprise. No doubt it can be a nasty job at times but somebody has to do it. Good work.
Anaerobic bacteria making gas and building pressure. You guys are doing such an important to help these cows. You guys are the best!
thank you for helping this cow’ look

i never knew there would be a sound associated with the pressure release
I was not raised on a farm but I do love watching farm life. Specially with the care of the farm animals.
Great job on the cow's hoof.
GOD bless you.
Wow! That was a bad one. Good job, she didn't want to leave, lol. She must have felt way better getting that pressure off. 👍🐄
Thanks for taking care of ur animals.
Love how calm the cows allways are in these videos.
Wow. You are a special person bringing healing to these creatures
I had an abscess on my tailbone after falling on the ice and it was one of the most painful things I've EVER been through!
Not sure why but I find these videos full filling. So happy to see the bovine getting good care.
I feel so much better for this friendly pretty animal. Lunch well deserved. ✊🏼🇫🇷🇨🇭🌺
She has to feel better with that pressure released. Thank you for taking care of her.
I can imagine how it felt to walk on that...poor girl! I'm sure she felt so much better!
My maternal family were farmers, dairy men, chicken/egg, hogs, and turkeys. Cows are my favorite. Bless you for gentle care of God's creatures.
Omg poor cow! It looked like a painful procedure, but I’m sure she’ll forget all about the pain soon! Never knew careers like this existed this is so interesting!
Well done. I hope this cow feels better soon. Thanks for fixing her up.
Oh I bet she felt soooo much better after your help! New subscriber here. Looking forward to your other vids. 👍🏼🐮

That poor girl had to be in serious pain. Well done you! I'd still be having my lunch too!
Poor thing!!! Thank you for helping her❤❤❤
"yes, Tom is that old" , Tom has all of that experience too! This video was icky and I enjoyed every moment of it, I need to re-evaluate myself 🤔🤔
Thank goodness you can help these cows! Today is so much better for them.
First time I've seen your channel. I love animals and I'm so glad that you brought comfort to this one! Ps I love your accent, where are you from? I'm from USA California. Keep helping our wonderful animals!
He is from Northern Ireland
I don't own cattle nor do I live on a farm but gosh this is so interesting to watch! I love it. Hello from Texas!
This was very interesting I could do this job. I really love animals so helping their pain would be rewarding. You did a great job!
Thanks for being so kind and making sure they do not feel the pain.
Thanks Gareth! I enjoy watching your work. What does TEC stand for?
Thank you for enunciating your words. No lie! And thanks also for sharing all the information you have learned!
am a grandma cow lover. Cheers, Gaynor
Am I alone here when I say I actually feel the relief myself? If cows could sigh...
Poor baby. Thanks for taking care of her.
Hello, I’m glad you could eat your lunch after that. I was wondering how is Tom’s hand. It’s been a while since we saw it. I’m glad you could help that young lady with her painful foot.
Thank you sooo much!
Mad respect!!! 🙌
That cow didn’t look all that healthy, was that the infection? That aspirin foam/ paste is pretty cool.
I am 14 and I have been at dairy operations before but I have never seen that pad you glued on, is that something always used or just when they have come up lame? How long does it stay on her?
My Hooves feel great after watching these I never saw such relief in my life
When Tom was learning to trim, he had to practice outside as there were no lights indoor as of yet......I know as I"m older than Tom! 💀
God bless you for easing the excruciating pain this poor cow was suffering. 🙏
I bet it was surprising to realize how many non catle owners where dedicated fans of this type of stuff...I love the knowing they are getting help and getting their booboos fixed. so many livestock owners let their animals get bad or don't care for them as they should and that kills me , idc what the animal is for one must take care of them while they are in your care..growing up I had to feed pigs that were raised for their meat and as hard as it was I made sure they were shown love till they went on to serve their purpose bc they shouldn't be neglected or get less care bc they are going to be slaughtered one day so I made sure I showed them some thanks for what they were going to be used for , but I couldn't Name them bc I did the first littler and it liked to killed me the morning I fed them and left for school knowing I'd come home and they'd be gone so I had to stop naming them and I just used bud for them all. Also I they would take them off to slaughter when I was off to school so I wasn't there to see it bc I couldn't handle that either, but was exciting to know I'd have another bunch coming to take care if soon...
Thank you Heather! Your story was awesome! I enjoyed reading it! Felt like I was there!
Dairy cows are usually well taken care of a sick or in pain cow is not going to give good milk and be a waste of resources just sending the cow off to slaughter if its something fixable and the cow produces good yield would be a waste too. If you like watching this you should check out the iowa dairy farmer videos
@@kimlindner4033 yeah very true , but sadly you see it happen at times and it's awful. Thank you I will definitely go check that out I love seeing animals of all types get proper care no matter what they are or their purpose , they all deserve care and affection and if around me I'm going squeeze a little love in there as much as I possible can...lol...love these types of videos and it's interesting too! ❤️
