He’s also known as “marvel’s mightiest mutant.”)In 1941, DC came out with Aquaman, a blatant rip-off of Prince Namor. Aside from Aquaman’s ability to control a sea life telepathically, their stories and abilities are almost identical. Both are kings of Atlantis, both are the sons of an Atlantean woman and a human male, have superior strength and speed. One of the few examples of DC taking from Marvel.
Namor was always an arrogant, enigmatic Marvel character, who has been both hero and villain. He is cunning, and his mutant origins and being an actual prince elevate his relevance. I hope they still find a way to get him into the MCU. Maybe in Black Panther 2 film, there was a comic storyline of war between Wakanda and Atlantis... T'Challa vs Namor, etc..
Why does Atlantis have "impregnable iron gates"? Salt will destroy the iron and, well, walls not much good in a world where all can float. Love it !!!!

A android or robot from another planet falls out of its spaceship for some unknown reason and into the ocean where after a brief fight it decides to let Namors arch enemy control it by telling it what to do and somehow it knows how to find Namor and attack his City and him smdh.
U always destroy your enemies, and never let your emotions and sentmentalities weaken you, cloud your judgment, when strength and authoritativeness are required. An enemy will never cease until u or your descendants are destroyed.
Maybe...or its just a coincidence. Probably a coincidence. They aren't very similar in personality. Namor can be logical at times, but usually he is written as an emotional, volatile (passionate) hothead. I think think my description there was redundant, but you know what I mean.

I think a Namor and Thor double feature would've been cool to see! After fighting each other for the whole episode they would finally defeat the villian!lol! Two Princes,an Avenger from Asgard with wings on his helmet and an Invader from Atlantis with wings on his ankles, who will win? sorry Namor but I think The Thunder God would just be too much for you!

Just because you see a flaw, doesn't mean that there isn't some logic behind the gates. There may be a force field or the Atlanteans may weigh a ton with Namor being able to swim because of his mixed human heritage as well as ability to fly. They say later on that the red machine guy has the strength of a thousand men like Namor. If Namor is 1,000x stronger than the average man/Atlantean, then they may not be able to swim over the gate like Namor possibly can. If you limit the graph to nitpick something, your lack of a spectrum of logic will be called into question. Basically, LEAVE NAMOR ALONE! LEAVE HIM ALONE! :{J
"impregnable iron gates" Okay, what the hell?? Can't they just swim over it? And doesn't iron rust into powder overnight in seawater? And even if it wasn't underwater, that thing looks like it could be knocked over by a volkswagen. I mean, it's not even steel! It's just soft, brittle iron!
I don't get the inconsistencies of Namor's strength. He is supposed to be as equally as strong as The Hulk and always fights him to a draw [especially underwater], yet in this episode,Namor isn't very strong at all and can't defeat this robot through brute force. Pretty disappointing watching Namor being bearhugged by the monster. If The Hulk had fought this robot,he would've said ''Bah! Lemme at him! Lemme at him!'' and made mince metal out of it, in or out of the water.
I agree that some writers don't know exactly how powerful Namor is. Generally, he is in the same power group as The Hulk but the key is in how people fight Greenskin. Namor knows Hulk gets stronger the longer the fight goes on, that's why he never plays around with him and tries to end it quickly! Others, like Thor, get sentimental about BRUCE BANNER and tend to hold back whereas to Namor, Banner is just another surface dweller! Finally, Namor is virtually invincible underwater, but on land, his power fades, especially in extremely hot, dry environments like deserts.
I was there in the 60's and everything was made of rock. That's why these cartoons are so stiff. And we just like to get stoned, and listen to rocks&roll.
How about Star Trek remake actor Zach Quinto who played Spock to play Namor??? He is available and really resembles him as he did Spock! Cast somebody ugly to play his nemesis Attuma...
That robot would smash iron man. Namor easily beats Iron man but Namor struggles against this alien robot, in fact this robot beat Namor. Iron man has no chance.
