If I didn't already have an everdrive, I would definitely get one of these. Much lower cost for basically the same features as the most current revision of the everdrive. It's always good to see more flash cart options. I have also had issues with the extra files on mac before. At least you can easily format drives into fat32 without using a third party program.
@@JoeBleeps On mac you can use disk utility to format the drive. Just use the erase option on the drive and it gives you the option to rename it and format it to MS DOS fat. The largest I've done is a 256GB micro SD, but I'm sure it would work on bigger drives.

As a Mac user, I’ve run into compatibility issues with other Kaico Firmwares. My workaround was creating a Windows 11 VM using Parallels. As long as you give the Win VM access to your USB Input, it will work. Parallels offers a free trial, so you can try this out without having to buy a license.
Interesting! I too have physical carts of the games I wanted, but this would be great so I can preserve my carts and have more games. And ZedLabz great!! Be shopping from there soon.

We then paid for an injection molded case to be created. Its better quality than any other available one on AE. plus with us you get UK customer support and a full 2 year warranty. We only sent these out to make people aware that we now sell these and they are available on Amazon, eBay and our website. We made sure to use the correct chip set and have finished these to a high standard. They are not the same ones you can buy on AE for $40 (They use inferior FPGA chips and components) Ours do not! We offer UK customer service and a 2 year repair or replace warranty. You wont get any of this on AE!
then why is the board identical to the AE ones? why whould you use the AE project to build having the original being open source? you can fool the end customer but you cant fool a developer
The fact is the PCB and shell were modified by your supplier who deliberately chosen to ignore the GPLv3 license by not publishing the modified files while attaching the SummerCart64 name to their (and yours by extension) product. I know what your supplier did sell on aliexpress fooling their customers by sending them units with chips not up to specification I made. I can't support such practices and no amount of free carts or money will fix that.

We wanted to make it clear it isn't our cartridge and put the developers name on the packaging and product. We are making sure all parts used are to the specs he set. I dont understand this hate.

I tried PC gaming a few times in the past but was always needing new upgrades to play new games, I prefer consoles and being confident my machine will be able to play the games I buy for them.
It's exactly the same as they sell in aliexpress, what they do in kaico is just relabel it for resale, in aliexpress now it's in about 50 dollars and I say it's exactly the same because it's the same pcb and the casing doesn't have the hole for the back button

I tried to copy a save file from ocarina of time in the saves folder named exactly as the ROM file.sav",still not working. Is there somwone who had the same problem? Save file not loading ONLY with ocarina of time

The menu currently lacks a few features, including cheat support. Not that I'm complaining. The developers have done a massive service to the N64 homebrew community. Free open-source developers deserve a lot more recognition for what they do.
Biggest question: Why do people keep using mac? The times of that being superior predate windows 10 or even earlier. And was it ever superior? People often compare 2500 dollar macbooks with 500 dollar laptops...... There was a time it was the best option for editing visual stuff, but also those times are long gone. Its something like using an iphone. Pay way to much for way to little. Always compatibility issues with everything
just to point out, these seem to be the ali express carts with a more aesthetic shell, the quality of the components doesnt meet the minimum recommended by the developer

You can set the RTC by loading up Animal Crossing and using the in-game menu.

macOS is leagues better than Windows 11. You can’t put a price on that.
