What an important statement from David about how we need to encourage the baby monkeys, who have just arrived and have only been fed by human hands, to be interested in nature - and as we can see, the little ones are showing interest in the green leaves that have been laid out for them.
The babies are so fun to watch! It’s crazy what they learn in such a short time! Thank you for sharing your wonderful program and experiences with us! ❤
The little ones are so cute, it must be wonderful taking care of them. To all the volunteers I say you are wonderful human beings, may God bless you.!!!
So cute! FYI, just because monkeys don’t bath in the wild, doesn’t necessarily mean it’s bad to bath them. After all, humans never bathed ! In fact, even as late as the 13th or 14th century, it wasn’t uncommon for people to bath only a few times a year! But look at us now! So much cleaner! Keep up the amazing work! Volunteering is on my bucket list!
True but it's important not to bathe them too often and only when it is needed like with these babies. Bathing too often, removes the oils in their coats and skin which they need to help them stay dry and warm in the wild.
Intrresting that you need to avoid feeding them citrus fruit. Is it too acidic for the stomachs,? Or is there some other reason? They're doing really well añd develop skills so quickly. Great video. Thanks 😊
They’re only kept in a cage at night, all together to cuddle, and the caregivers wake up throughout the night to feed them. It’s just when they’re little babies. For safety and feeling secure. Then they get a monkey foster mum ❤ It’s really amazing how it happens! I think you’d really enjoy the videos of previous seasons, and they’re very informative too ❤
They are mostly just put in a cage at night. It is mainly for their protection and the caregiver knows where they are. They might wake up and move someplace and could end up getting stepped on or they might get themselves in trouble. It lets the caregiver get some sleep knowing the babies are safe and secure. Plus they feel secure with their blankets and it also helps to keep them warm. They give them all sorts of attention during the day and the babies are out of the cage all day. Once they are bigger and are in the big outdoor cages they will no longer be put in the small cages. Night time is for sleeping and it's better they sleep with each other than with a human. The idea is to not have them get so attached to humans because they will eventually meet a foster mom and go live with a troop. Welcome to the channel and please keep watching. The babies' journey from orphan to getting a foster mom and becoming part of a troop is truly amazing.
I love Daves narratives he's educational making sense but the girl talking just talks and talks and talks stating the obvious,,,, please don't talk so much and just let us watch

Nova is my favorite. Good that all 3 babies are doing well. A few more weeks and they can meet their new family.

Usually you’re getting babies more frequently. Is this a good beginning of the year or am I being optimistic?
so far yes
I always wondered if that little climbing tree ever tipped over. Got my answer today!
@@NDbred I audibly gasped and jolted when that happened - the babies handled it better than I did lol

Why are such tiny babies locked in cages ? Sorry, I am new on this channel, I don't understand this thing.

If my mommy doesn’t come for me will you be my mommy please!
Jetzt auch in deutscher Sprache ❤ Danke!
Monkeys are no pets, this is abuse. They need their mother, not nice dresses and a bed.
Is there a video of their arrival
If you haven't already found it, it's the first episode of Season 8.

Could you please deactivate AI voice translation? I hate that artificial voice. Otherwise I'd stop watching the videos. Thank you.
