Juvi's integration must be one of the most straightforward youve had for a long time. Amazing to see how quickly she adapted to her new companions after being a pet. V good to see how happy and playful she is. 😊
The little baboon is still such a baby needing some tender loving care. You can definitely tell it’s been rough for her but I’m glad she ended up with the right people.
Мені здається, коли мавпочка схожа на людину (як у випадку бабуїна), її починають оцінювати за людськими критеріями краси 🤔 Ну... не знаю, таке моє припущення 😊
Even though the best (and only) way for monkeys to be is with other monkeys, at least it seems as though the human(s) that Juvie was with were good to him and it wasn’t a bad place to be. Only because he doesn’t have all sorts of neurotic and unsure behavior that we see in monkeys that have been in whacky situations.
@lisacolbert5987 I don't know that I fully concur. The tail sucking is a big indicator in my book, that she's at least marginally traumatized. But, she does seem far better adjusted than most "pet" monkeys, especially the ones those vile people make channels for.
We don't know what she has suffered on her journey to the sanctuary. The sucking on her tail end could have been stress on the journey from wherever * home* was. The damage appears to be recent and minor. I don't so much think that she had been abused or she's suffering from separation trauma from losing her human family. I hope that she settled down and begins to feel more loved accepted and secure. Whatever her story has been to date her future is suddenly !pre safe and secure bless you all in sanctuary for all you do. That baby baboons was so tiny yet so trusting of Dave and the volunteers at the pervert sanctuary who we all know are simply angels without wings.
@@susanschwartz7315 that’s because humans ARE primates. That is the classification that humans fall into. We are “the most common and widespread species of primate”.
Sure was a cute little girl baboon, glad she was able to go to CARE. The new little monkey you guys have sure was playful, if I could afford it I would suggest a name. ❤️
The little bamboon will do well and is going to the right place. I hope to hear a update on her. Juvi is so sweet. I am glad that she is doing well. What troop will she join?
How old was the baby baboon? Juvi seems like she will integrate well with the Bandit troop. Sally port entrances are smart on the integration cages. Thank you VMF💜
She will be integrated with a troop of orphans, not the bandits that regularly wander into and out of the sanctuary. Former pets do not do well in all wild troops. The pet monkeys need monkey socialization. Bandits don't tend to accept those that don't know their troop rules, and when food gets scarce an outsider would be driven out to preserve the interests of the natal troop monkeys. This is another reason monkeys shouldn't be kept as pets. When they grow up and are no longer controllable by their humans they are often thrown to the wild. Survival rates of these former pets is very low as there is not the protection of a family within the troop. Sanctuary troops are a controlled environment. If a sanctuary troop rejects a monkey, they can be moved to another troop.
Disgusting animals. I find it hilarious how you people tell others that they should leave wild animals alone and that people should not interfere with animals until nature takes its course and decides to take their life! Now its okay for you to interfere! You guys are all hypocrites.
Girl baboon is so adorable. I hope she'll be fine.

Aww.. I wanted to see the baboon's journey.
The new baby monkey has such a cute face...I hope she will get a foster mother, which might be difficult because she is already 1 year old.

So glad to be seeing new episodes😊
Бабуїни дуже красиві і дуже розумні, чому їх так люди не люблять! Люди, Верветки, Бабуїни ... пішли від одного спільного предка

I love Dave’s voiceovers he explains so much I’ve learned a lot from him
Thanks!
Thank you
21:11 I’m super impressed with juvie grooming the older female! Her instincts naturally kicked in and it’s so important for monkey politics
Oh my, such a cute baby baboon. Sweet temperament, sweetheart.
❤
Seems like Juvi was a pet, if she's that comfortable being handled. She gets to be a real monkey now.

I’m always amazed to see how human like OR that were so like Primates both of the species are!

Although the Vervets are adorable I do have a soft spot for a baby baboon - so cute!
Hard at work as always VMF team!

Oh my goodness, this baboon babies are soooo cute🥰
Do baboon moms adopt orphan babies like the vervets do??
They do get them a surrogate mom when they are 9 to 12 weeks old at C.A.R.E.
Omgosh I want him sooooo cute

I hope Dave’s dog is okay!
Baby baboons are soooo cute, because of their noses.❤
Dave ,it’s so good to hear your voice ,the episodes get more elucidated…😊
They both act like they been handled by people cuz they ain't trying to get away etc
The little vervet monkey...Naomi should be her name.
The naming rights are part of the Vervet fundraising program. I believe you send the name suggestion with your $150 donation.
How do I go about naming a money via adoption?
А у ваших коллег, которые спасают бабуинов, есть ютуб канал или где можно посмотреть как выхаживают бабуинов?
Is there a channel we can watch for these rescued baby baboons?
@primatecare is the sanctuary that she has gone too, they may post updates on there with her - she's now called Jeanne
