Holly Molly, new video at 6AM Hong Kong time. Really hustle real hard. that orange color is dope 😂 But still waiting for my Fyro 1.0 backpack ☝️ 🎉 Let’s go
I’d recommend the Bellroy Transit Workpack as the optimal alternative with a bit more organization + water bottle holders, while still maintaining the sleek look
Got this bag and the review is pretty on point. From my pov the build quality and materials are excellent. Having used it a fair bit for work commuting it needs better organisation. But my biggest issue is that the cut of the straps digs in under my arm pits and I have to really tighten them to pull the bag up to alleviate this as much as possible. First bag I have ever had that does this.
It does not stand up very well. It’s a bag built to be beautiful and to be able to stand it would need a more square shape especially at the bottom, which doesn’t look as good
Thank you for responding, I appreciate you! I did purchase the Via and I do love it. It’s so clean and comfortable for what I use it for. Thank you for your content it is so helpful and I love your channel. I think I need a little smaller back pack so I was considering the Bellroy classic compact 16l but if it won’t stand up that might be a deal breaker
Test paper size looks like A4. Bit of a bummer that they didn’t make it fit that, tbh. Though it fits outside the pocket so all in all that’s alright. That’s one good looking bag and in that colorway it is very classy, popping but not too loud. Good stuff.
hey Aaron! quick flag that the leather accents are real on this backpack and all Bellroy products. also totally not ideal, but the primary material they use in each product can usually be found at the end of the page URL somewhere.
@@Nomads.Nation it’s hidden at the end of the actual web address! “color=bronze&material=baida_nylon” in this case. would be better if they just put it on the page itself though 😆
Can’t go wrong with either, just depends on your preferences. Bellroy is lighter and more minimalist. Aer is heavier, with thicker shoulder strap padding, and more features.
This bag looks so good! However I am at a point in my life where I just need a bit more organization and space, I got the transit workpack instead :) I would have loved to have this backpack while I was studying at the university though
This bag is good. I don't care for water bottle holder but this bag doesn't have enough organizational features I ended up returning it and get a transit workpack. I just wish they had same pockets as transit workpack on the front and bigger or multiple zippered pocket inside. I get this is minimal backpack but it's too minimal for edc. Transit workpack 20L is better but its slightly too bulky for me. Its shame it could have been perfect edc for me. I am still searching for one.
I disagree it’s too minimal for EDC in general just cuz I know sooo many people who hate pockets and just want a minimal bag. But having said that, I’m with you - I like at least a few more pockets.
Beautiful backpack. I own the premium version, which is really really beautiful. Do you really need a sternum strap on a 20 l backpack? You didn’t notice the internal Apple AirTag slip pocket by the way - a nice feature.
Any chance the Bellroy Lite Belt Bag review will come soon? Looking for a sub 1L small sling mainly just to be a pocket reliever like the AER Go Sling 2
@@Nomads.Nation they posted on their official YT and they said to look out for reviews cause I asked regarding pockets and they didn't get to show in the clip. bellroy bags are typically lighter in weight, more minimalist, less comfortable, and more beautiful. Aer bags are typically heavier in weight and bulk, have more features, are more comfortable, and more masculine.
That's a beautiful orangey colour. No water bottle holder.. Sternum strap.. And, the little pocket on the front. It's fine but the section just below it, it kind of looks odd? And bendy? I dunno. I'd rather the pocket be moved down to the bottom. 🤔
@@Nomads.Nation I think it looks good when packed out, but if the main is empty and there's a few bits in that front, doesn't it just crumple when put down? No big issue I suppose, just hang it with a hero clip.
@@linedwell a bit yea, it's a soft goods product with very little padding/structure to keep it nice and light and malleable. There are plenty of structured bags out there, but the aesthetic is much more modern and the weight is usually noticeably higher
I don't get the apparent huge need for a water bottle holder. Where on the 2" on each side of the split on the side would one be put. They'd have to completely change the look of the bag to accommodate a holder that would ruin the current aesthetics. Its also just a super simple daypack, not a hiking, travel, or sports pack. Its it so hard to just put one inside of it and take 3 seconds to get inside the bag lol.
Classics are always classy with specific purposes. No bottle holder, we'll make one. Strap too thin, add more padding. No sternum strap, create one. Customise making it yours. Now it's A Classic.! Cowabunga.!
