I have the XL box. It offers noticeably more room than the wheeled box. Its lid does hold itself up; you need to move the box into the same position as the bottom. It's what you ended up doing. Pretty simple.
@@FixerMerlin Yes, the rolling box has two friction tabs that keep the lid open, while the XL box's lid is held by gravity. It dips down slightly lower in the back as a result.
