Joshua Tree National Park in our U-Joint Van

We took a few days away from Quartzsite Arizona and headed to Joshua Tree National Park for a few days. Pam and I got in a few hikes and spent some time in our U-Joint Van camping on BLM Land. We had a great time, hope you enjoy the video.

Nice video, enjoyed the rock formations as they inspired me to take a closer look at Joshua Tree in the near future. There's a special place in Baja named Cataviña that this place reminds me of...have always enjoyed the dispersed camping opportunities of Baja. While I enjoy the Pacific Northwest and it's cool climate, I've always been a fan of desert scapes as it's what I grew up in. I particularly enjoyed the B&W work, this is a lost art that has gotten forgotten. I once enjoyed dark-room work, but have gotten spoiled with digital photography...thanks for the reminder that it's easily adaptable.
If I had one minor critic, it would to include the time of year a little sooner, and perhaps give a climate report as these can be vital for survival in some situations and always useful in all situations.

Glad you enjoyed the video I took a Black and White photo class in college many years ago and it sticks with me. We’ve actually been through Catavina last winter and we’re in awe of it! If we ever pass through there again we’ll plan to spend a few days there. Have a good one!
