Oh, girl... The music one. 😂😂😂😂😂😂 And my ear ia sensitive. If there was a missing note, I would move to that part. And it would mess everyone up around me because they were used to matching my pitch. So I would think EXACTLY THOSE WORDS IN MY HEAD!
So many layers to their humor, I love it. And in that one part where they were fighting off the devil and so forth, this actually goes back to the early days and I remember once having read a literal transcription from an evangelist black preacher in the 1800s, and then when I was in high school, I was part of a state winning debate team, but also in Forensics, there was this insanely talented black man who was so incredible at everything he did and was a hero of sorts to a lot of people in those groups, he could be so serious but he could be hilarious. But he researched that historical bit so much and then chose it to do as a dramatic interp for State, and I think he won that year. He certainly went a far way with it, and I saw it three or four times, and it was absolutely mesmerizing every single time. But this K&P skit has the same rhythm of that, and at the heart of it, once it gets rolling, this preacher is likening being on a pole, and you're climbing up the pole to heaven, but then the Satan is there trying to pull you back down, and you're climbing higher but then you're losing ground and you're struggling, and I remember there was one great line or it goes: And I know that sometime clouds be hanging over your head, the devil has got a hold on your soul, but you got to climb, keep climbing that pole up to heaven And of course it was extremely animated. That feeling of that kind of super old school delivery was really captured in that part of this presentation.
Key & Peele were these fantastic performer/writers on Mad TV. Then they did this show that was absolute genuis,... best show on TV every week. They were delivering every week. Not only was it on locations, make up, voices, costumes,... it was brilliant writing and performing.
This reaction was OUTSTANDING!!! I feel like you are getting everything they wanted you to get. You can see that they prolly knew a whole lot of their audience was not gonna get a lot of this. But they NEVER pulled any punches or dumbed anything down.
What makes these dudes great is that they are best friends. So they have this amazing chemestry that is phenomenal. They are FBI agents in the TV Series "Fargo," it was great. ❤❤❤❤

Many skits where made to subtlety drop knowledge on Christianity, racism & other areas through these comedy skits. Quite ingenious really! Most wouldn't realise they're actually being taught about Jesus & his teachings & its only later they realise they've now acquired this knowledge. Quite brilliant the mind of a genius! 😂😂

No matter what race or religion, if you believe that we were created in the image of The Lord, and we as humans have a sense of humor, that must mean The Lord has a sense of humor as well. 🤔 Sometimes comic acts can go too far, but most of them are tastefully done, and I’d like to think The Lord is laughing along with us at times.
That first one was funny but Biblical in a sense: Luke 18:22 - Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, "Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me."
