I agree with April's comment, please don't change the way you do your videos. You do a great job for beginners up to advanced. This is the first time I think I could make an afghan using this stitch pattern. I always wanted to try it, but thought it was just too complicated to tackle. I have a friend that collects dragons. I am going to make her an afghan with this pattern for next Christmas, 2018, which she will love because of the scale appearance.

Your video is NOT TOO LONG. It is better than perfect. Your instruction skills are excellent! My daughter saw a telephone case on Etsy in this stitch pattern and wanted a case for her Kindle and keyboard case cover, (the Kindle contains her college textbooks). Your instructions made it so clear I am beginning that project in the morning. Bless you and your heirs!!! Thank you so very much.

You're anexcellent teacher! I don't think your videos are too long at all! I appreciate that you go slower, you give me the detail I need to be able to do this and do it well! In your videos, I can actually see all the little intricities of crochet that most videos go too fast for anyone to actually see how, which, which way in, which way too wrap the yarn, etc as I improve my crochet skills. My stitches are much neater following your teaching.
Do you happen to knit, as well? 😉

I had learned by 15-20 mins in but some people may have taken until an hour in it’s just about people and how they learn. Anyone who doesn’t need them to be that long can skip to the parts they need and then leave the video 🥰 thank you for the tutorial I am so glad I learnt a new stitch today

April Lee Eisenhauer ,I agree she does an amazing job explaining every step. It's very helpful that she stops and shows exactly where to work your stitch. Some videos do not do that and it throws me off cause I'm not sure if I'm even in the right spot. I usually watch the whole video and then go back when I'm working, then skip what I dont need to know. But I think it's great she is very thoughtful about everyone. She's my go to, to learn new stitches!

I'm only part way in on your video(the part were you say some people say it's too long)but must comment now....I wish you had made this earlier. I finally figured it out for myself, just as you have done it, but with a lot of trial and error first. The putting down on paper is such a good idea and I will certainly be trying that, I learnt to knit from my mum but she couldn't crochet so I never learnt but RUclips changed that and I started at the age of 68 and love it. Thank you for all the hard work you put into your videos ... the prep alone must take a lot of time.... it is much appreciated. I watch all your videos even if I don't want to do the stitch at that time because you give such good advise. I will get back to the tutorial and happily watch to the end. By the way I made mine into a lovely clutch bag, or purse as you Americans call them, it's gorgeous even if I do say so myself. 😘👏🏻💕

Hi Grandma! I have used this stitch to make a baby beanie in the round and a baby cocoon to match it fr one of my granddaughters in a red heart super saver Bright Yellow- Everyone just Loved it! I Love the sample made in the rainbow colors, it was beautiful! You have explained the stitch perfectly for viewers! I found that the stitch becomes very intuitive after doing a few rows and almost addictive! Enjoyed this episode, Thanks Again for sharing your time, efforts and talent!

I've watched many of ur tutorials. Just luv em 💜. I've not been able to do the Croc stitch before. But following u along in this tutorial made it as easy as falling off a log!!! Keep up the good work. 🥰

Thank you, I liked the length of your video. This is not an easy stitch to learn and you showed it at the right speed for me. I watched another crocodile stitch demo that I had to keep backing up, to figure out my next step to crochet.

Could never figure this stitch out. Tonight I crocheted along with you, felt like we were in the same room. Perfectly taught. I'm making a sampler blanket and have used many of your patterns. Going to save this for last on my blanket, using a camouflage or green multi yarn for it. Thank you so much for spending so much time teaching this.
