Dr Swamy, Good day. Could you kindly explain the fact that compared to growth in GDP, the GST/ Tax collection has gone three times (3X the growth in GDP). 1. What does it mean? 2. Where is the extra money going ? 3. Do GDP figures take into account the inflationary value ? Kf taken what is the real growth in GDP? 4. Obviously people at the lower sections are paying more taxes. But at the time of GST, just the opposite was promised. and finally, 5. Are we as a nation, too illiterate and indeed lowly educated to see the real issues and just die laughing in pain? I am sorry bu I think these discussions are shying away from real political economy questions. I understand if it may be because of fear and reluctance.

Lately the truth is emerging. Some of his intentions were outright stupid. We should call a spade a spade. Mr. Basu is living in the past. Naming the rate of growth after the PM would be more appropriate. Like Modi Rste of Growth, MMS rate of growth etc.
Does this elite group go beyond the small screen? You guys give a model short medium and long term India economic plan, get public to endorse and sign to be sent to president and Supreme Court to make it mandatory for any govt to implement it. The budgets of state and center are only for subsidising and do not make citizens responsible.
In my opinion Debashish Basu is constantly talking only about not not not and also ruling out any possibility of any positive outcome . His talk helping only the opposition. I am not impressed with his views. Moats alarming talk is about deficit. He says he is an outsider and not aware of what is happening inside the Govt why go for analyzing.

It’s not zero tax - tax from 3L to 6L and another 1L has been waived off. If it was zero tax then why there is a need for tax slabs till 7L.
