I have an 8 year old daughter that BELTS this from the backseat every time she is in the car. She is not a singer... but I love hearing her sing it at the top of her lungs each time.
I clicked immediately! I haven't heard a single song of his that I don't love yet. I really love Slow It Down, To Love Someone, Little Runaway, and In The Stars! Cry is a good one, too. In the Stars is a really deep, emotional song. Its so beautiful.

Benson is so incredibly talented! I got the opportunity to attend a closed super small 'acoustic session' at his record label when he had a promo tour in europe two years ago. One of the few artists I can say have the best vocals Ive ever heard without anything added to it. Like straight up singing in the room, hes incredible!

I’m an all genre music fan. I’ll hop around from artist to artist depending on my mood. I found this song from tick tock as well. I went to buy it on iTunes and I ended up preordering his album instead of just getting the single. And I have to say that I can listen to his entire album and love every song. There’s something calming about his voice as well.

Then I watched the video for "Slow it Down" then "Cry" I think cry is my favorite he for sure has an amazing voice and let's be real he can write a hit song. In fact because we work in music production I started to realize he very much sticks to the hit song writing formula after hearing slow it down. Which is start slow and build and build then big moment then end on the slow. I couldn't decide if that bugged me or not even though the songs are good. However cry starts the same then switches it up in a cool way. I haven't gotten into the whole album yet but it's on my list for sure. It's also wild that he is like 21 years old.
Check out Little Runaway, In the Stars, Before You, and To Love Someone. Most of those are before Fireworks and Rollerblades. In the Stars is on the album, though.
Late to your comment, but I suggest listening closely to the second half of Fireworks and Rollerblades if you're looking for songs that don't fit the typical structure. Many of them have several different sections and build intensely, with time changes, several genres, more complex emotions and layers than the first half of the album and his earlier work. I deeply love literally all of his work but these songs hit differently. Forever and a Day to the last song if you see this! And I think the hits Ghost Town and In The Stars are truly great songs, but they have the simpler style as earlier in the album

He didn’t start singing until like 3-4 years ago…always musical I think… played instruments, but wasn’t from a singing family and so didn’t really try until recently… and his octave range is insane!!! He’s naturally talented! It’s amazing… and he writes his own songs (don’t know if all the time) and the singles are bangers!

Crazy he only started singing like 4 or 5 years ago, he auditioned for american idol and got through but chose to leave later on to pursue his career alone. Great decision and not surprised he has blown up, his vocals are immense. Just saw him live on Tuesday in London and he slayed! What was and Forever and a day were my favourites. Even more wild that he was doing backflips while singing and didnt go off key once. Crazy stuff! Cant wait to see him support Taylor when i go in August too! Subracribing to watch you guys lose your minds over his other stuff. Also please react to sugar sweet by him, i think this song is a change up to the reat of his stuff which follows a similar formula

I remember in one of their videos they said they will be doing every single one of Twenty One Pilots music videos for their Clancy album when it drops. Luckily it has!!
