To clear up some things, Isaac’s dad was the swim team coach. The swim team, which Isaac’s older brother was a member of, was at the coach’s house to celebrate a win. Matt was there to play with Isaac (both Isaac and Matt were kids and a few years younger than the swim team), when the swim team decided to mess with Matt and throw him in. I think you guys understand the rest of the details pretty well. What was done to Matt was horrible, but I completely agree with you guys in saying that imagining your revenge as death is completely out of pocket. Then again, Matt’s stalking of Allison and saying “if I can’t have her, no one can” doesn’t exactly suggest that Matt is sane. Looking forward to your reactions for the last two episodes of this season!!
Peter, who became a villain because he almost but not quite burned to death in a fire, was put down in season one by fire. Matt, who became a villain because he almost drowned, was drowned. Someone in the writing room sure thought they knew what poetic justice was... 🙄
In this moment it would actually be crazy as a watcher of the series because nobody knew the kanima's weakness(everyone just thought it was water) and with that gone and Gerard basically fearing nothing it would be make Jackson just so much more dangerous
