  • Knowing how to take care of our hair daily is one of those things that might seem so simple but most of the time we still make mistakes that can cause damage to our hair so in this video I’m gonna show you the hair care mistakes, how to fix them so that you know how to care for your hair better. Main hair care mistakes I have done are: brushing hair with dirty brushes, leaving oils for longer periods of time, sleeping with wet hair, air drying hair roughly, using rubber bands on my hair, showering without a hair cover, conditioning the roots. I hope you learn and avoid these common hair care mistakes so that you can grow long healthy hair ❤️ #hairgrowth

    I started using lityleextra reactivate serum for hair growth which has rosemary because my hair was rapidly falling out because of stress and such. I was only looking for anything to try, and this had been recommended, therefore I went for it. Within a few days, I noticed significantly less hair loss when I brush my hair. I also spotted where I initiated getting patches of loss, there had been new growth. It did irritate my skin slightly right on the forehead hairline, so I use a band to avoid it from running down while also preserving the head tilted back during application. The irritation vanished and has not returned, thus if your skin is sensitive or just to be careful, I suggest a hairband to prevent it from running down to your skin. On the whole, I'm so pleased with this serum and can continue to use.

    I just discovered your content and my hair is brown, thick, wavy, and gets knotted VERY easily, there are so many things I do that now I realise I shouldn’t. Two examples are the conditioner shouldn’t go on your scalp. Like I didn’t know that! And that’s why my hair looks more greasy. Another one is the brush one. I had no idea that I should wash it because of all that. Now I will start doing that all the time. I am going to follow you and hopefully I will see some changes. Even if it’s a small change I’ll be happy! Tysm for these tips! I will edit this in a few months if I can and report back!

    I loved this video! I have been growing my hair out for several years. And I have finally dialed in how to keep my length and add to it. Hair oil has been the last key ingredient to the formula. While I agree that applying it to your roots and scalp can be bad. I have experienced proof that it is necessary to apply it to your tips only. The hair at your tips (also referred to as ends) is the driest part of your hair. So, adding that extra intense moisture keeps the ends from breaking off or splitting. Thus keeping your length.

  • @ReavoEnd
    @ReavoEnd 6 месяцев назад +2

    Thank you! Great tips.
    I thought I was helping my hair soak up and hold in moisture by putting it in a bun wet straight out of the shower... Oof. Sounds like I was doing the opposite... Stretching it, thinning it, weakening it. Now I know why it is the way it is!

    The best solution for the steam problem is taking cold shower or not above 25°C (or 77°F) , it's better for your skin in general + it's more cost efficient as there no to little need to warm the water. You get used to it faster than you think, it's just a matter of will

Is there a way I can moisturize my hair and make it easier to brush without putting oil in it? I always thought it was healthy to oil your hair every day but that, and the fact that I take hot showers may be why my hair is always frizzy, even if I oil it directly after a shower.

    Hey Doro ,Iam 21 now, I had long and thick hair down my back 3 yrs ago, but now my hair has been thinning out towards the end but i still have some density in the middle part of my hair, would u suggest cutting off the thinning part of my hair to promote hair growth, or should I just leave it alone and focus on the scalp for hair growth... Asking u cause u r the hair guru😊

    How can I stop hair breakage on the top and sides of my hair, during the night? I never go to bed with wet hair and even sleep on a satin pillowcase but it seems like every morning I wake up with more and more breakage. It’s so frustrating, any ideas on how I can prevent that?

    What is the least damaging hairstyle I can sleep with? And is it fine to leave coconut oil on hair for more than few days?

    Hiiii I wanted to know if its good to double braid ur hair before sleeping? I usually do light double braids before sleeping to keep curls and waves in my hair(i have naturally light curly, wavy hair) and if it is how should I continue doing them? tightly or in a light way?

    I'm new to the channel and loved the video. But now I'm curious about the Biotin mistake you talked about, Doro. 🤔

    i’ve been struggling with frizzy hair for the past 5 years. i thought i had to get special hair products, and i felt guilty asking my parents for those because they are super expensive and i don’t make my own money yet. i realized i don’t need any of those stuffs and the reason why my hair was always frizzy and dry was because of the way i was washing it! thanks to you i was able to achieve my dream hair!! ❤

    • @imnoemit

      May I ask how do wash it?

    • @t3ddyx20
      @t3ddyx20 Год назад +1

      @@imnoemit well the only thing that was making my hair frizzy was because the heat of the water was damaging my hair. now i use this soft head towel whenever i take a shower!
      during hair-washes i use less shampoo and more conditioner. for the shampoo i try to keep it around the scalp area and not the rest of my hair!
      after washing my hair i dry it with the hair towel i was taking about earlier, and apply a LITTLE bit of oil of your choice and it lasts like that for 3 weeks! even if you don’t add a bit of oil ur fine it’s up to you :)
      btw the oil doesn’t make your hair look oily or heavy. i also recommend anti frizz serums but those don’t last as long..
      also the way you sleep with your hair impacts it a lot too. now i sleep with a braid which prevents my hair from getting tangled in the mornings.

    My mom keeps putting oil in my hair and I don’t know why and she will put it whenever it doesn’t feel oily and it will feel alright and I didn’t even take a bath, why do you think that is? And should I tell her to stop in order to keep my hair healthy? Also what to you mean by it shouldn’t be there that long? Do we have to wash the oil out? I was never taught this and these are just some questions that I have that I really want to know so I can start taking care of my hair myself. Also how do I brush my hair? I can’t seem to get it in the back and when I try putting it all to my shoulder it just ends up being a mess when I put it back to normal and creates more problems. And by the way I have wavy hair. And where do I get hair moisturizer?
    And by the way sometimes I use aloe for my hair so I wanna know if I use it while I am showering and wash it off or just leave it there. What do you think?

    I HAVE to use scrunchies for pony tails and buns because the other kinds of pony tails get tangled in my hair and hurt. I only use other kinds for braids because it's easier to take them out, doesn't hurt, and doesn't pull my hair out
