I think Clement is finally making that long awaited shift in his content. From SWE stuff to entrepaneur stuff
🤫
Unsurprisingly, I'd watch the SWE videos only they're relevant. But I haven't pressed on a video as quick as I have pressed this one knowing damn well clement is gonna drop bombs of knowledge and value if he does entrepreneurial vids
There's no denying that he is a very successful entrepeneuer; why work 10 years in FAANG when you can make the same amount of money in 1 year with a SaaS?
His views are tanking now. Just look at the views at recent vids
8 Most Important Character Traits Of Successful People according to Clement:
1. Accountability
2. Open Mindedness
3. Competence
4. Optimism
5. Hunger for achievement & success
6. Grit (perseverance against all odds)
7. Focus
8. Risk tolerance
EXACTLY - THANK YOU
Hey there Clement. I'm a first year uni student in India, been following you for over a year now! Love the content and the guidance you provide
I purchased the AlgoExpert package and have been studying the crash course on data structures. As someone with both a master's and bachelor's degree in CS preparing for job interviews, I wanted to express how awesome you are! I truly love the way you explain those concepts. You're an incredibly knowledgeable and excellent instructor. Love you 😍
Thank you so much for the kind words! I’m really thrilled to hear that you like AlgoExpert so much! 💪
This is a great video. It deserves more views.
The most helpful one in tech for me is something akin to confidence - namely, the belief that no matter how complicated a technical problem, project or concept is, I know I can learn it given enough time, effort and focus.
You're awesome! Please post videos like this more! Thank you.
Agree with this list.
I think optimism is the most underrated one, and it's quite correlated with grit.
In short: do you keep trying on things that really matter until you get it done?
If I would add a 9th, I would say it's adopting an iterative approach.
When your risks don't pay off, when you hit diminishing returns.. at some point it's worth switching to a more BFS vs DFS approach.
I really needed to hear this video! Super infromative. Thank you so much for creating such valuable content. 🏵
Thank you for pointing out these crucial traits!
your the one that got me into coding and perusing software development
Thanks for the advice
"They focus on something for a long period without distraction" I will work on this, thank you
with increasing use of AI, it is becoming more important to be a better human and I love all of these on this list
I have to work on myself! I have very few of these traits ;) Nice video!
thanks for the video sir
It's interesting how many of these traits also show up in unsuccessful people, such as free will, risk tolerance, and accountability. In general, they bias people to the extremes, all or nothing.
Would buy book with this themes!
could you make a video about how to improve your problem solving abilities.
this is gold, yes or yes
I wonder where I should work now in my career. I used to be a functional analysis, but I really don't care to find a good job, only think about money. Also, I stop crying about injustice. I don't listen to people about laws. Of course, I do penetration testing in all systems from employers to learn about possible way to win something and never talk to someone else's. I watch my time doing my time , get the most difficult and never talk with my colleagues. I don't want to deal with social skills. I know this is bad for my reputation, but I go deeply in systems and write reports and documentation about problems. Actually, I am studying mandarin chinese, but this is not because I appreciate them, I only listen when we start a dispute. They are kind with everybody except myself. Also, I wonder if I should add another diploma. I have done a degree in computer science, a major in actuarial science, but this is really pretty shitty. I have an experience to work like a heavy machinery mechanic with an education in aircraft maintenance and receive an offer to be mechanic for locomotive. I have no friend, girlfriend or kid. I only think to ride a motorcycle and my childhood friends are not recommended bikers.
I want to learn hand gestures like You 6:13 😇
Add IQ
You left out knowledge, expertise, and hands-on skills for competence?
Great stuff, but don't stop the sw dev things
I am a staunch Trump supporter. I love debating people I disagree with. You should simply ask questions why people believe the things they do. Even if you disagree, you can better understand their perspective to improve ways of approaching them and others later.
Indeed!

#1 most important character trait of successful person is to start yt channel and sell regurgitated products because being an actual software engineer was too hard
He has been watching Andrew Tate.
