Kudos to GMA for making theatre musicals part of Sunday noontime variety show. Importanteng kasaysayan ito sa Sunday noontime variety show na may teatro rin kaming napapanood.
14 years of theater musicals on Sunday noontime show (since Party Pilipinas on September 12, 2010) is not a joke lalo na't nariyan pa rin ang mga sanay na concert-TV ang Sunday noontime show. But GMA made it possible hindi lang para baguhin ang nakasanayang Sunday noontime habit, kundi para rin magkaroon ng platform ang theatre actors gayundin ang theatre musical fans at non-theatre musical fans. And this is something different lalo na't pag sinabing musical skits, matik na sa Daily noontime show mapapanood. Pero hindi, dahil sa Sunday noontime napanood.
And this Rent musical prod on AOS is a testimony na magpapatuloy pa ang teatro sa telebisyon maging sa next generation hangga't may kahit 1 manonood ang tatangkilik sa teatro na bumabago sa noontime habit.
