So apparently the movie is about a college student who is trying to stop death from killing her family but finds out that their grandmother survived an accident she wasn’t supposed to.
if thats true then why didnt death just kill the grandma, whats the point of targetting the family? plus, in the 2nd movie they established that new life can erase the death list, so if the grandma started a family, then the entire family should be spared anyways lmao
@ I mean they changed the rules every time. First it was intervening, then new life, then it was to take a life of someone to get their life. It’s all bull crap there’s no escaping death.
This new film actually follows a college student named Stefanie who will have a vision about an accident at a restaurant on top of a tower, However, this vision was about her grandmother who survived that accident many years before and death has been looking for those people to kill them one by one, Stefanie's grandmother managed to cheat death until the day of his natural death, But death will now be chasing his descendants, Stefanie's entire family, killing them in order
I went to go see FD5 a week before I was scheduled for Lasik and going in to my appointment gave me anxiety after seeing 5. I kept asking the doc to check every thing just to re-assure and he said "You are the 2nd patient to have paranoia because of that movie but it is understandable. I am terrified of Lowes and Home Depot now. " 😂😂😂
To those new to the franchise. Heres a lesson. Dont. Fuck. With. Death. Death has a design. And it doesnt like to be cheated. All five of the final destination movies have the same premise. A huge massacre unfolds. Someone sees it coming, causes a scene, and then it ends up saving the people who were supposed to die. The enemy of this franchise is always death. And i mean the actual death itself. Bc death is a natural force of nature all the deaths occur within the range of probability. Meaning the entire Final Destination franchise is a collection of the single worst case scenarios that will result in death every time. And its beautiful. Its creative. And its fun to guess how itll happen. So enjoy.
They aren't, unless they are keeping them under wraps really well. The only character that is apparently from the older movies is Tony Todd's (RIP) character in some capacity. Supposedly this movie will go into more detail on his character.
After watching the final destination movie franchise I had to be admitted to a inpatient psychiatric hospital for 2 years I was diagnosed with PTSD and paranoia disorder to this day I can’t live a normal life anymore everything I see is a death trap now Plus I have had two family members experience real life final destination events 1. My dad almost died due to a logging truck loosing it logs 2. My brother fell ff the ladder and the ladder almost impaled him when it released the folding locking mechanism
Great introduction to this film, I'm hoping the rest of it lives up to it. The cinematography and sound design brings me right back to the first movie which is a great(terrible) feeling lol. The 5th movie didn't land for me in any way thanks to a lot of the deaths honestly being kinda goofy, and most of the actors phoning in their performances, especially the lead. Barely an improvement over the 4th in my opinion, and the twist ending didn't save it even a little in my eyes. Thankfully, if this is any indicator, the acting is certainly a lot better, and this looks like a great setpiece. I have a feeling that the fire isn't what ultimately ends up killing him, so I'm interested to see if I'm right or not lol
pretty cool so far, only thing i feel like they could’ve done is made him attempt to go for the fan remote and somehow the remote broke from water damage or something as everything was falling and the remote fails to stop the fan making the scene feel more intense, cause if you think about it, if he turned the fan on with a remote couldn’t he just have turned it off? I love when horror movies have actors do things that are logical but when logic still fails to save your life then it’s leads to more of a “oh shit” situation.

this is true. the accident from past is something at the restaraunt😏
@@deadshot7062 nah the new life thing in FD2 actually worked, the protags got spared, as far as the audience knows anyway 💀
They said Tony Todd finished filming all his parts before dying
Final Destination is ICONIC, like everytime I see a movie with a build up to Accident, I will say it reminded me of final destination

Final Destination 5 (2011) was the last FD movie to come out until now.
