There are so many things to love about Peppermint Buffet! Firstly, we felt the effort in the transformation of the place into a mini Hong Kong was superb and the depth of thought put into the menu and the cooking expertise was top notch (as opposed to merely making dim sum and "calling it a day"). In this regard, Peppermint becomes a Buffet that can be consistently returned to, to not only enjoy the themed surroundings but mostly to take in a new monthly gastronomic journey with every new country cuisine/season. We understand that Thailand is the theme for October, followed by a Festive season theme! YUM!
Secondly we loved the effort that the ParkRoyal Collection is making for the planet in terms of sustainability - with an Urban Farm in the heart of Marina Bay, it tells us there is hope for the future!
Overall, the ambience of both Peppermint and the hotel architecture (by John Portman) and atrium ambience is top notch. The greenery, hanging sculpture and sleek lighting combined with the chirping of 8 bulbul birds made everything feel almost utopian.
