Hi Peter; This is one excellent film ! Your neck of the woods ?? Mine too actually. lol. Your fine piloting is on full display at Cal as you transit from the west wye leg around the curve to the bridge. And a huge thanks for your informative captions and description. As for the wind at Garnet, I have experienced adverse wind conditions every time that I filmed there. I was there in April 2021 and the wind made audio capture poor - even with the use of a dead cat muff. All told - really great stuff !! James.
Like the drone views. Gives an idea of the track arrangement and the geography. I believe the Newmarket Sub is OCS as well from where it comes off the Bala Sub at Washago, thru Huntsville and ending at Transfer Yard just outside North Bay. It has trains 450 and 451. I do have to agree with the previous comment on the info being difficult to read with the current colours.
Awesome video I was just out there today and have suddenly got a new interest in what is going on. I remember a couple years ago tanks were stored on the old CASO and you would see 150 car trains coming through Brantford at night heading west. I'm curious what Paris W is all about because I know the Brantford Crew used to come out there at night to run south after they took back over. You mentioned cabbing to Hagersville is that where they rest before returning the next day to Sarnia? Still trying to figure out what trains work what at the moment.
I always watched those night time trains when i was a kid; the SOR surprisingly always had large trains with the little power they had. I haven't witnessed any of these significantly 'large' CN trains on this line since they have taken it back over, but I'm sure that will eventually happen again. They always seam to have so much power for such a small train lately!
@@palpcaso8858 Thanks for the feedback (and Garth) - I've been experimenting with different approaches to try and make the text easier to read. I'll keep working on it to enhance the readability. Cheers!
Always love watching the trains cross the the Caledonia bridge! Excellent video!

Red and white letters very hard to read. Black letters on white background would be easier to see.
This x1000. I love his videos - they're beautifully shot and very informative - but the text can be very hard to read.

I;m a little late to the game, but does this train still run today? I live in Simcoe and would to do a chase.
What time of day did 402 show up at Hagersville?
