Boscam 5.8Ghz 200mW transmitter with 5.8GHz Circular Polarized spiroNet Antennas. RC305 - 5.8G 8 Channel AV Receiver. Yeah HD is the way to go so I will be also looking at these... Going with the basic monitor first then looking at the Fatshark HD as you said... thanks for the support mate..also going to the Kimberley's in about two weeks so looking forward of getting great footage around the Kununurra W.A. area.
Been over that Bridge many times, I think your about the only guy I always watch the video to the end, most Phantom videos are 10 minutes long and only interesting for the first 30 sec's ! Wheels from the UK also makes great FPV vidoes! What FPV are buying? I'm waiting for the FatShark Attitude HD to go on sale. March is supposed be the launch date. Cheers JS nice bloody work matey !
Awsome video I'm thinking of getting the phantom if I could get an attachment for squid baits I could hover over to my favourite pylon on Tom uglies bridge at drop some Jewie baits
Zack, I tend not to use stabilisation as yet as I was doing a lot of testing with the wire stabilisation mount and purely want to see the quality I get. I do edit with Premiere Pro 5.5 which does not have the "warp stabilizer" installed but I know 6 does. May need to upgrade. I will PM my email to you as usual I will come to my sensors and start using these plugins. Thanks..JS
Great shot f the bridge. Tell me though was it legal to fly the Phantom? I'm thinking of getting one for my Hero 3 Black and doing some production work.
Kym, You are allowed to fly up to 400 feet, around 130 meters but there is rules how far you can fly these UAV's from airports, etc etc.. They say Australia has one of the toughest set of rules in relation to UAV's .Just use commonsense when doing this in any flying and just fly it to your limits. You can get a license for UAV's, I have heard it is not easy but that was a while ago and it is quite expensive. It seems you want to do it for commercial reasons then if this is the case for insurance issues you may have to go down that path. All the best mate but you will have fun with it but in all cases sometimes the money is not all there unless you get involved in the big side of UAV's and now in Austrlaia there is over 50 licensed companies doing this, where 12 months ago I think there was less then 10. Thankyou for a fantastic birdseye view of my favourite bridge, also the associated information on the bridge, job well done.
Gee, that mount works well. Nice work
