Thanks, yea it bothered me that the wheel wasn't in the center so I'm glad that fixed it. You gotta play around with the toe in and top caster after you do the lower swing arm mod to get it where you want it.
Thanks man, each weight is about 14grams so 28grams up front at the moment. I'm still testing how much I will keep in the front so I may end up only using one or none possibly. It feels like it keeps the front wheels planted on the ground for good control when whipping it around so it seems like it helps especially on a slippery surface, but too much can make it hard to do big drifts without a lot of speed/power. I will drop a video on weight distribution(it's already recorded) soon after a few other videos that I'll post before it.
It seems to me the front washers should be on the other side? The back looks right but front should be opposite or does it behave differently because of the steering?
When you get the car out of the box the washers are towards the front for zero caster. Yes it's different for steering so its not the same as what you would do in the rear end. When you turn hard left or right the wheels lean to allow better grip and control while drifting. It just looks weird because the shape of the swing arms are different front and back, the back ones are small and in between the mount with the rod, while the front swing arm are wide and kinda shaped like a "Y" so that's why it looks like the washer is in the wrong place. It's two different design shapes so the washer won't have the same effect like they would be if they were the same shape. It's hard to explain but I hope that makes sense lol just look at the differences between the front and back, you'll see.
Hard plastic. The 1801,1802,1803,1804 which are the AE86, RX-7, NSX and Miata all come with plastic bodies. The 1899 with the R34 Skyline body are metal diecast.
@@AirToGroundRCFPV I have 2 LDRC´s 1899 with metal body. They are extremely cool. I have 4 wltoys 1/28 too, 3 with metal bodies (BMW Z4 GT3, Porsche 911 RSR, Dodge Charge RT 1969 Custom). My money is all going away really fast, like you had speak in other video. lol
Good idea with the rear lower swing arm mod, I noticed it was hard to get the back wheels centered after adding toe in so this definitely helps.

Nice video, keep them coming 👍
Thank you, will do
Good stuff as always! How much weight did you add in the front and what is the benefit?
