These elites in tandem with the corrupt government will take this country to it's knees like the fall of Rome, My sympathy goes to anyone approaching retirement, you may have reasonable concerns over your pension and if it'll stretch to cover the rising cost of living, bad regulatory policies, bad energy and insane fiscal policies.

And let's not forget how the global economy plays into all of this. Economic instability, inflation, and market fluctuations can further complicate matters and add to people's financial worries.

Well with the ever-changing global economy, tax laws and regulations can also vary, impacting how investments are taxed. It's essential to stay informed and plan investment and tax strategies accordingly.

Indeed, If the U.S. expects countries to want to use the dollar and the U.S. Treasury we should stop weaponizing the current financial system. This is not in America's interest to do this without due process.

Energy Independence would do miracles for the economy and the national debt

The US is still energy independent. We are pumping more oil and natural gas today than ever before, and we are a net exporter of both. There are miracles in the economy. The US is reindustrializing and shoring up supply chains after 4 decades of private sector neglect.

ahhhhhh, hate to say it this way but very wealthy people are going to have to upcycle their money to the bottom of the barrel for maybe 5 - 10 years while simultaneously making sure that everybody is working, saving money, and not splurging. Wealthy people... you have to downgrade for a few years. You'll be back at it in no time. We need help.

Global inflation was set during the lockdown supply shocks and fiscal stimulus. The Inflation Reduction act was signed into law in Aug 2022 when inflation was already coming down. Inflation began rising in March 2021 before the American rescue plan took effect and long before the infrastructure bill.
What does one expect when we recover the economy rapidly with fiscal stimulus allowing those "bounce back jobs" to actually bounce back while supply chains were slow to recover. Unlike Japan's lost decade(s) of near zero interest rates and low inflation, the Fed moved to a more normal policy stance.
This inflation crisis was handled much better than the oil embargos of the 70's and 80's where inflation approached 14% and interest rates near 20%. We are still energy independent and a net exporter of oil and natural gas. We are pumping more oil today than ever before, yet gas prices are still high. So, why?

It is grossly irresponsible of a house member to assign blame for inflation to the current administration when the house themselves carry far more responsibility. Oh well, what did I expect from a republican? Honestly? As if.
