    This is extremely helpful!! Thank you 😊. Do you have a tutorial on multiple color images to cut out in vinyl? I could really use some direction with that.

    Hello, I’m trying to make some neck labels for my T-shirt and I downloaded the logo but it won’t let me contour it. Is that one of the options do you have to purchase?

    Tfs and God Bless ✝️💜 can you use the contour button on colored images? Also when you click on "make it" and you go to that screen, the mat is black and I can barely see my image on there. Is there a way to change the color of the mat so we can see the image more clearer?

    • @TheThriftyChica
      @TheThriftyChica  4 года назад +2

      Hi! You can use the contour tool on images in a single layer. You can always "Ungroup" an image to adjust with the contour tool in one layer of the image. The mats are set to be the same color as whatever you are cutting in the cut screen. You can always change the color of the item when you're designing it in Design Space so it shows up as a lighter color. Then, just sub in the actual color of the item when you go to cut it out. Let me know if you'd like a quick walkthrough on that, and I can record one!

    How come every time I want to use the contour or slice feature they aren't available for what I am trying to do? It always seems that they're 'greyed out' when I need them!

    • @TheThriftyChica
      @TheThriftyChica  3 года назад +2

      Usually it's because what you are working on was de-selected. I usually end up having to double check to make sure it's selected to work. Also, the slice tool works on only 2 layers at a time. You may have to slice one section, then go in and slice another if you're working on mult layered projects. Let me know if you're having more issues with it!

    I tried this on numerous svgs and the contour button does not highlight or let me use it. Do you have any clue why? I have a Cricut Maker, thank you!

    • @TheThriftyChica
      @TheThriftyChica  4 года назад +2

      Hi! There could be a few reasons. Are they multi-layered images? If so, the images will need to be welded together to use the Contour Tool. It also only works on images that have scattered elements, such as the snowflakes in the example. Hopefully this helps! If not, let me know, and I can go over it more in another video.

      @@TheThriftyChica The images are welded together but they still won't contour. I would appreciate any help you can give me, thank you
