- Time to reinforce the engine mounting cradle in my Subaru EZ30R Twin Turbo Swapped Porsche 911. I had nothing holding up the back end of the engine, and I need something to use for my Subaru Swap Kits for sale, so let's make one!

This is a Porsche 911 restoration that was abandoned in 1994 after being converted to a race car. My plan is a twin turbo Subaru EZ30 porsche engine swap with 400+ HP to the wheels. Stay tuned.

I have one! I also have a plasma cutter but my compressor is on the fritz so I can't really use it at the moment.
Not sure if I've well understood, your turbos will be solid mount with a bracket on this new crossmember... but turbos need to be secured/solid mount on your engine to follow engine movements... isn't-it? 🤔

Bushings on the engine mount locations...just like Porsche does.

Hey Mike been giving some thought to your Subaru fitting kit, this only my thoughts so don’t over think it. Your kit may be far more successful if you made it for the Boxter (cayman) chassis, my thinking is Boxter are cheap and easy to get a hold of, they are not valuable appreciating asset (yet), would come alive with a bit more power, possibly a more attractive option to a greater number of potential owners due to lower overall project cost…..

Especially since they are already water cooled and their engines tend to fail.

Any thoughts about the whole Lastern kit - for a 986/987 ???
Given the 96/86 gearbox is the same with different final drive direction............it would all be about the harness, cradle and revised adaptor plate.
Just thinking............. my local after market Porsche guys think I'm nuts.....but I am sure many have been told that on the way to success ;-)
Absolutely on the radar. Much more complicated than the 911 or 912 versions so I'm focusing on them first.
