@@Nate_Bob_27_Games yeah I'm glad they switched it up. As much as I loved Links Awakening (one of my favorite 2D Zelda games), I didn't want another replica of that with just a different map/dungeons. This feels like it will be a brand new experience which is exciting

This is the first time we've seen the Gerudo in a FIRST PARTY Nintendo fixed-camera Zelda game. They appeared in Cadence of Hyrule, which is a fully-fledged Zelda adventure, though it was developed (wtiih permission) by Brace Yourself Games and not Nintendo. * I really don't like calling Echoes of Wisdom "2D" because nothing about it is 2D. Even the gameplay makes use of the 3rd dimension. I say "fixed camera" because that seems to be the aspect that people are trying to describe -- the camera doesn't rotate freely. Top-down works too, I guess.
@Radien sorry, I've never played cadence of hyrule, I've heard a ton of great things and I really want to, just haven't gotten around to it yet. Also sorry if confused you with my terminology, for me I just call "top down Zelda" "2D Zelda" thats what i first called it when the seris split and it just fits better I'm my head.
Nintendos been making classic games linger than you been breathing bro, they even made princess peach worth playing. Its not the real Zelda we wanted but its definitely going back to closer to what we want. Were getting there, i just feel like Zelda as we known ot has changed it is shat it is, but this will be a amazing game trust me. 2d zelda, mugh live it! Not 2d its TOP DOWN this is a 3d games lmao 2d is a side scrolling game or flat like ATTP... This is definitely a 3d game lol but we know what u mean. The art styles amazing also. I have plenty of worries myself "zeldas the pro" for starters, no sword, etc .. combat?? Idk nut itll be amazing ouzzler game 4SURE! LOVE ZELDA, HOPEFULLY WE GET WIND WAKER N TP N MEXT GAMES 100 PERCENT BACK TO ROOTS N CHEFS KISS! PERFECT

This is obviously the same world as in Link to the Past, but extended in all directions. Just compare the maps.
