The Point at Which It Falls Apart is my favourite one. I suppose it was their Violator, but they never reached this point again since then.
Exact. You stole the words out of my mouth. I think the first 3 albums are their best, then they became maybe too sophisticated and lost a bit the direction started with Fragile, but still they remain one of the best electro-wave realities, together with De/Vision. I think their peak is just after the album you mentioned, or the song The Purest People, one of the purest gems of electronic music. Congrats Vaughy for being part of this band, I think it's an incredible satisfaction for you and you must be rightly super proud. I don't know Vaughn if you will ever be determined in the composition of future Mesh records, but I hope so, because you could really give a lot and add your quality. Your album Dark Society is one of the albums I've been listening to the most lately and it's really good

Cool I've seen Mesh live about 10-12 years ago here in the US with Iris and De/Vision.

Hello, Vaughan! I'm glad and happy for you, it's like pulling out a lucky ticket and participating in the tour of an already legendary band, almost like a mini-DM!
Will their an-ol-good song Not Prepared (Don't Get There) be on the setlist?
At the beginning of the noughties, it appeared on some pirated DM compilations as their unrealized track)) and some believed, because the second voice was a bit like Martin's.
I don't want to start any blasphemous conjectures, but it reminds me of a good old story from 1981... "an electronic band is looking for a keyboard player over the age of 21..."

I haven’t used MainStage, so I’m not sure what it’s capable of. I use Ableton when we play live- I have all of my virtual samplers and synths set up in one big Instrument Rack with automation so that whatever sound I need at any given time is always right under my fingers. That way I don’t have to worry about which sounds are mapped to which section of the keyboard, and I can just focus on playing. Of course, it’s easy enough to automate it switching to a multisampler with multiple sounds if I need it, or a drum rack with a bunch of percussion or one-shot samples. It’s very flexible and takes a lot of pressure off of me during gigs so I can focus entirely on the performance.

This looks complicated! Hope you make detail videos of the sounds you play on each song of the set list, also, how do you know which parts to play and how they are played, midi files? Or learn by ear? And the sounds that are not there, do you have to figure out what sound instrument to use??
...let's not forget Mesh also supported Gary Numan at some point. It all points back to Gary!

How is the the CME UF70? Francis have a black one but on every octave, we have one broken key. Still couldn't find a shop to repair it. Billy Currie of Ultravox did use it. Do post your live performance with the band.

I was listening to Mesh from around 2016 . Automation Baby is for me their best .They obviously are influenced by Depeche Mode .
Be sure that we are waiting for a multicam with a self-analyse later! 😊 GL HF
