stunning indeed! I'm about to make the waterfall benches too. I will use sliding dovetail to connect the sides to the top, as I don't have the domino jointer, and I also want to make the top to sit on the sides. I hope it works out well.
At this point, I can’t remember precisely what that original mix was and the proportions aren’t that critical. If I was doing it now, I would make a mix 1/3 oil and 2/3 mineral spirits. So that’s probably what I did then. Thank you for your interest and keep on creating.
His voice, the birds chirping... the Bob Ross of woodworking. 😊

It will! Sliding dovetails are strong!
Beautiful piece!! Amazing
Thank you!
you can also wet sand with 320 or 400 grit when applying the oil rubbed finish
What percentage of mix was your first application???…You did an excellent job on the miters!!!…Beautiful work…

@@wildbuslife I am assuming that you mean “Tung Oil”,,,right???
No, I meant oil based poly, thinned with the mineral oil. Thank you.
Are you in a jungle??.
No, believe it or not I am in LA at that time. Just north of the city. Lots of birds discussing bird things.
