Another awesome vid, LT! Your similar guide from last year made a huge difference in gear hunting. I started doing the 2-behemoth farm and I was able to get my build together quite quickly. I was overwhelmed thinking that I was looking for Leggos only and, it turns out, that's actually totally wrong. Go with the greens and blues and upgrade them. Love it. The point about upgrading green gear is so important. I am at high level content and I got stuck looking at blues and purps constantly missing out on that one mod I wanted.
Man - you nailed it 👍 Last few days I've been running expeditions and seeing the first sign of trouble : coming back from those expeditions dragging only my humbled balls 😒 I had been quite happy with the build I'd managed to get stabilised - then I got dreamin' again and started swapping parts out. Then, just like you pointed out, it becomes like some perverted Jenga game, trying to figure out how to get all the mods back. Hahaha oh well, all in good fun 😎
amazing video I tend to think this game needs 3 mods per piece and make the expeditions go up ten levels it would create more builds diversity and make legendaries get somewhat of a random roll even if it's just one attribute of random or customizable

damage absorber should be the only defensive mod u use, i use it on every single build and character except devestator, it basically doubles your armor for free without u having to do anything. If u play solo and get teamed with randoms all the time u just never know good the players will be, double armor is a game changer
I've had a fair amount of success in re-rolling the DLC weapons - felt good to actually buy it in support of the game - but yeah, those weapons can be quite painless to cultivate.
I've messed around with those as well. The problem is, that the weaponry has a set amount it can reach for maximum. For my builds, I need even more than they offer.
Great video. After watching several different content creator videos, it started clicking. My issue is should you wait till 50 to build your character or find the perfect pieces and level those pieces to 50? And the material I never have enough any suggestions on farming spots?
You need to start working on your build as soon as possible, because you won't get to level 50 without good gear. Unless you plan to get carried that far by a friend. But even then you would have days of being at 50 without a build and you'd need to be carried all that time too. A lot of the process is running expeditions to gather resources to upgrade the good gear you do have and to find replacements for bad gear that don't fit. Dismantle all the greens and blues you don't keep. Sell the purples for scrap. Don't ignore that you can buy resources for that scrap - from Bailey buy titanium. If / when you have extra titanium you can trade that to Tiago for drop pods. As far as upgrading your gear goes, your average gear level is a really good indicator of your power level. If your max wearable level is 44 but your average is 42 then you can handle level 42 content (assuming you have *good* gear as described in the video). Play that level for resources. Bump up gear level. Push into the next higher level of content. Repeat.

@@dlbarnes For sure you want captain hunter. Other than that it's just a matter of having a good build and the video does a really good job of talking about all of that. Attributes, mods, etc. EDIT: I should add that the tier 3 mods from the set armors tend to be pretty important for each class. Those tend to really amp up the power of abilities. Getting all of the armor pieces and the mods from them is really important. Even if you use a purple gear item it is usually going to have one of these T3 mods on them via crafting.
When you are just starting off in Outriders, your builds aren't going to matter, but after a while (as you near the end of the campaign) you will want to start focusing in on your build. Throughout your playthrough, stash items that have the right attributes for later use.
I've been trying to level up my guy for the new update coming and I was trash thank for the guide had no idea how to get good gear. But the best damage I can get my guns to do it 2 tier 3 mods that shoots lightning down for 104k per 1 seconds along with another tier 3 mod that chains lightning to enemies for 207k per 2 seconds for about 415k per 2 seconds right? It seems really good to me but not sure. I'm running an anomaly build at 164k with 145k firepower

Now my volcanic / ash blast / over heat pyro has become a mod clearing beast which now makes random groups FUN. Keep up the great work!! ;o))

So something I haven't been able to find an answer on regarding gear. Can I use a piece of armor i have farmed on one class on a different class? I just started playing 5 days ago and only have one class so far and was thinking of trying a second, but was wondering if I could use some of the armor drops for the other class. The t1 mod would have to be rerolled to be of use to that class of course, but didn't even know if that was possible and i was just wasting my time. I'm lvl 43 and play the dev seismic build, minus the mods/weapons i don't have yet, and love it. I was thinking of making the techno firepower build you released since i have all these great firepower close range long range pieces that just don't matter for the dev bleed build. I'm hoping my theory is correct and i can just upgrade these pieces to get the correct t2 mod and reroll the t1. anyway i know this was long and on an older video, but if any one sees this and can answer that'd be great. thank you in advance

Nice vid tbh. I’ve restarted this game after stop for a whole year. The one thing I’m confused is, what world tier I should the farming? Meaning, do I have to be at the highest world tier when passing trough the campaign or keep world tier lower and then redo certain missions gradually to obtain the highest level gear? And when reaching the CT challenges, does the gear get any higher?

Yes and yes. As you break down gear and weaponry, if you look at the attributes, there will be a shard symbol next to one of those attributes. That means when you break it down, that particular shard will be placed into that particular attribute. If you want to see how many shards you have stockpiled, enter your character screen, place your cursor on the "shards" diplay at the bottom left hand of the screen and it will display every one that you have.
There's alot to soak in here lol....I'm still lost. In one video a guy said to dismantle everything that isn't max level...even legendaries. He said it's too expensive to upgrade gear.
I think you may have made a small error. You said all gear from common to epic can be purchased with scrap. You forgot to mention that not only are Tiagos legendary items locked behind drop pods, but his epic gear is as well. Not a huge deal. Just my ocd.

I have legitimately spent all day rerolling a blue to get the right tier2 mod. If that's against TOS then just ban me! It took that long to get the right mod in a game that is SUPPOSED to NOT be about grinding hundreds of hours! And though I have the exact build except for 99.4k deathshield, I'm still 10k+ low on firepower from some of the builds I see on RUclips. This game is fun and I'm interested in the new dlc they are working on.

Shoot everything in the face for crits except the Brood Mother. For her, aim for her armpits and watch those beautiful crit multipliers pop on screen.

It is all down to RNG, but Tiago has every piece for every class.

my Techno does major damage when im playing solo… but as soon as i jump into multiplayer my damage output takes a significant hit

If you watch the cutscenes and actually follow the story, I'd say it's a roughly 20-25 hour campaign.
