It's really sad to see the hardworking devs' game died. I mean they also have their own personal problems. Like Redibles, he had been at college but literally stopped without finishing it just for doors and to entertain us. I mean doors deserves to have at least 10B visits.

i really love doors and there will be times im in the mood for it but now in mid game i die on purpose and play another....u like to gain my knobs so i dont leave the game...glad ive beaten it. mods were fun for a little while but im just more hyped about floor 2 ^^
I'm still playing Doors and i kinda loved the entities
The reason i don't played doors is because i got kinda tired of It's gameplay. It's Just opening doors until you find a big Room that you have to search 1000 Drawers to find the key(totally fun gameplay) or find entites and then you have to hide and stuff. Other reason of why i don't play doors is because when you die the game doesn't even give you a checkpoint. And It takes forever to get to Room 100 again which can be really Frustrating(i can Already tell that people are going to say me to "get good") and It's really not Fun to Go back because you need to go trough more big rooms with a Key to unlock a door. Guiding light still helps but my point still stands
For me, it brings nothing new to the table. It's more of a mishmash of other games put into a high graphics shell. There's also *NO* learning curve. You get tossed straight into the game with little to no tutorial, help, or easy mode. So then, you go to RUclips and watch someone play. Within the first 20-30 doors you have seen all there is in the game.
that's true. People say"weLl, YoU hAv tO lEaRn bY tRial anD eRror" but doors punishes the player too hard and It's Just not Fun for the player. And the horror aspect of the game Just doesn't exist. You can't Just punish the player for him not knowing a Mechanic because THERE IS NO WAY THE PLAYER IS SUPOSSED TO KNOW THAT. And If you die, there is no checkpoints; you start from the Very Start of the game.(not to mention that the gameplay is so Boring, and the Monsters Variety IS lacking A LOT. I thought they would fix this in the new update but insted of Adding an entity that adds to the gameplay and keeps the game fun they Just make dupe. And he is Very boring, he was honestly terrible addition) there is so much stuff i want to say about It but If i did i would make this text even longer
@@rodrigomusicman1871 I agree with both of you on the front that doors can be repetitive and boring after you play for a while, however keep in mind that there is actually a lot that happens during the game. You already have Rush, Ambush, two Seek chases, Figure in room 50 and 100, Dupe spawning in some doors, and so much more. Would you really want even more entities crammed into the 100 doors that the game has? With this much content, 100 doors doesn't seem like much anymore, and the gameplay would be even more confusing the more things they add. As for punishing the player too hard, I don't really see a problem with that. Yeah, it can be difficult and frustrating for people who don't often play games like that, but I think the challenges you face in the game are part of what makes it fun the first few times.
Aside from this I do hope floor 2 is drastically different from floor 1 and that they have a variety of entities different from the ones we've already seen.
@@leviajulianna i am not saying they should Just put a bunch more Monsters but a bit of Variety would not hurt anyone. They could honestly get rid of dupe and adding a New entity. I don't have much poblem with being punished for dying in a game because of course the players should be punished for dying but you take too long to get back to door 100.the gameplay is so slow paced and It's honestly not the type of horror game gameplay i like. Yes a lot happens but most of the time you hide in a closet, spin around to find scary entity in the dark or run in a straight line then turning around. Seek chases are quite fun because you actually have to use your brain and react fast enough so You don't get trapped in something and you start going trough doors a lot faster. It's Fun to play trough It once but then i Just feel like playing something else. Because i Just don't see the Replayability for me
Technically they kind of do give you a checkpoint since reviving still exists. All you need is robux
When doors first came out I loved it but now there is no update I never play anymore
the reason i quit is because the game is just boring. Its just the open doors hide repeat and look through drawers for a key, If floor 2 releases its probably gonna be the same. And the devs waste their time on adding random updates (like modifiers, its a good idea but its stupid you have to beat the game to unlock it)

You could also try “CHAIN” pretty good horror game

I'd say the hotel Plus update ruined it for me, ambush is faster, snare, screech , rush, and eyes in the same rooms, and door 100 being laggy.
true, personally i liked the old door 100, it was easier, and had more charm to it, thats prob just me but i dont really like the new door 100
I'm okay with the new door 100, as you can just cheese the figure by going around the room when he appears

ngl hotel+ really wasnt that good, i mean it took WAY too long, door 100, i can barely beat now, byfron destroyed some of the best fun of the game, the anti cheat, EVERYTHING about the hotel+ update kinda sucks in some way or another, until a actual update comes out, ive quit the game, might just be perm at this point since they wont hire any new devs it takes a stupid amount of time, i get it, life, but STILL doors its a very successful game, they should have the money/robux to hire some new devs
I agree that they should definitely hire more developers, but I don't see a problem with it taking longer to get to Door 100. It just makes the achievement feel more satisfying once you do reach it, as if you've overcome something challenging.
I get it, but hating and not being able to win the hotel update is kinda trash skill issue, no offense
