there is also another cool fact about ambush's jumpscare, basically when you die to him you might notice that each time you die to him there is a different tone,this is because he has an infinite ammount of tones and each time you die to him it will randomly generate a tone and play it.

For me Ambush only comes at the 80’s. That means the solution is to get the crucifix at Jeff’s shop and when u get close to the 80’s hold the crucifix. Be careful for the other entitys because you might use the crucifix on most likely dupe

Besides that pretty normal run though the beginning made me think it was lagging or something bc it had never happened to me before

You forgot one of the most obvious facts- ambush got his name because you have a little bit less time to hide from him than you do with rush, which means he technically ambushes you!
The first time I ever got ambush was at level 96 during like my 12th attempt at the game 💀 I guess I got hella lucky I even encountered it after that many games, but I also ended up surviving the first attempt because there was a vent next to me conveniently.

Okay i can describe the ''elbows'' part very well! so it acually happend to me that's why, so I was hiding in the block stairways and it was a room with only 1 closet, so i told my bestie to take the closet and i went in the block stairways instead, but since it was my first time using the block stairway method i didint know i have to look away, yes!, u need to look away when ambush comes, if u stare directly in his eyes even tho ur in a block stairway or vent it will still kill u.
