    I can testify ... i've been having sciatic nerve pain for a couple months from bulging disc. Just couldn't figure out why the pain was not going away on its own as I thought it would. After hearing about systemic enzymes and their ability to reduce inflammation and remove unwanted proteins, I decided to give it a try. You do have to take a lot of them but it was worth it. I barely feel my sciatic nerve pain anymore. I can now move freely like I used to :)

    will serrapeptase worsen telangiectasia on mucus membrane/epithelium and on the skin (ie. cause ruptures or bleeding)? // (separately - i read that the prescription strength serrapeptase under the brand 'dazen' in japan was discontinued in 2011 due to trials disproving its anti-fibrin and anti-inflammation benefits. does serrapeptase really work?)

    • @naturalathleteclinic
      @naturalathleteclinic  4 года назад +2

      A quick search doesn't show a relationship between serrapeptase and worsening telangectasia. However, in those susceptible or on other anticoagulant medications, I suppose it's theoretically possible - but again there's no documentation of this.
      Not seeing anything about serrapeptase marketed as Dazen being discontinued.
      One issue you have to look at with studies of natural medicines is how they were designed - did it include potent amounts? Did it include enough time? etc, etc. There are good studies showing a benefit while others show none - again you've got to look at the study details. Hope this hellps!

    Hello :) great video. I ordered the "Doctor's Best" Proteolytic Enzymes, but I will look into yours next. I just have some questions if that's okay,
    You mentioned this is best to take on an empty stomach, this question may be silly but is it an empty stomach if it's shared with not food but other supplements? That supplement being just one 900mg capsule of NAC (N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine). And is it ok for Proteolytic Enzymes to be taken together with a supplement of NAC? Not sure if it will affect the effectiveness of either.
    And lastly when is the best time to take Proteolytic Enzymes? And if it can be taken in the evening or before bed, if they can prevent sleep at all? Thank you!

    • @naturalathleteclinic
      @naturalathleteclinic  3 года назад +1

      Hi - glad you enjoyed the video! I am not certain about taking enzymes with other supplements in the stomach - I would probably keep them separate because you want the enzymes to be absorbed and work systemically and I’m not sure If something like NAC would affect that.
      If you’re treating an injury then 3x daily is ideal. I’ve never heard of them affecting sleep. Hope this helps!

      One final question if that's okay, whenever you have time I'd really appreciate it -- when you say 3x daily for treating my injury, the current daily serving size on the bottle I'm taking is 3 veggie capsules. Are you saying I can take 9 veggie capsules per day for my injury? The amount per serving is:
      Bromelain - 576 GDU

      Amylase - 36,000 DU
      Lipase - 405 FCC FIP
      Neutral Protease - 164,010 PC
      Fungal Protease 4.0 - 34,800 HUT
      Bacterial Protease - 65,250 HUT
      Rutin - 30 mg
      Serratiopeptidase - 120,000 SPU
      The injury I have is a type of tennis elbow, I have constant recurring micro tears in the soft tissue throughout both forearms, especially if I'm exerting pressure on them, more so the right arm than the left, but still both.
