My daughter got married 2 years ago and we had to have deposits on everything immediately. Then everything needed to be paid in full 2 weeks before the wedding. Then it was finalized. She must talk a good game to get that many vendors to do the work before payment is clear.
It's called Deferred Adjudication. They basically put you on probation, and delay the trial until after your probation ends. If you stay out of trouble, and comply with all the conditions of your probation, then the charges get dropped. If not, you get punished just as if you'd gone to trial in the first place.
This is just how bad they want a husband. I must admit that i once wanted one too, however i was dating a narcissist who didn't want to marry me. I'm glad now that he didn't. Every married woman isn't happy.
