Dude (ie, multinational corporations) bought up land right up against a federal Air Force base.
One would think there’d be some “checks & balances” to be able to buy such property.
If you’re putting forth in your hypothetical that IF I had endless money.. the kind “F around” money to buy up land right next to the White House or Pentagon, Camp Pendleton, or David for that matter, and no one bothered me or asked me questions… I would.. um…. Be shocked & also under the impression that nothing matters in this country and elitists run everything and one could do whatever they want as long as they have enough money to grease the wheels.

I have lived in Fairfield since 1989 when I was 7. Still live here. I am 41 now. Fairfield used to be nicer and way more affordable. There always used to be starter homes available to buy for young first time home buyers. But for many years now other investors bought all the housing and rent it all out at rip off prices. Fairfield needs way way more housing to fight the housing shortage. Real houses. No apartments. So its perfect that this billionaire wants to do mass building near Fairfield. Younger generations in this area need a chance at their own decent life and fair cost of living. At the moment young people most of them in this area are suffering immensely with the impossible cost of living increases. Jan Sramek is a genius in his 30s he is from Czech Republic a nice European country always allied with USA. He moved to Fairfield and lives here with this family. Dont spread lies and rumors. This is a young rich guy that just so happens liked this area very much and saw the chance to build his own city. He deserves a fair chance. I am looking forward to a massive number of new homes being built near Fairfield. End the housing shortage.

That investor list needs to be released to the public.

Thiere is nothing wrong with buying or property in secrecy. Companies do it all the time. Take for example Apple computer, they bought up all the land around HP on wolf road back in the day from compac computer , tandem and all around and nobody knew who was buying it. Then they bought the land HP sat on and announced they were building the space ship campus. They didn't work with the city of cupertino until after they sucked up all the land and Steve Jobs himself presented the plans so that it could get approved.

A group bought land they were legally allowed to buy. They complied with official requests. Here's an idea, the existing property line and zoning was deemed sufficient for the security of the base long ago. The base does not control the land they don't control and investors don't have to advertise what they do. The interview is a fishing expedition to stir drama and fill time and becomes repetitive.
