I bought this guitar because of a huge discount in an online store. I didn’t have high expectations, just wanted to get a decent guitar. What I received is a real beast-it sounds and feels really awesome. I mainly use distorted sounds-it’s sharp, aggressive, and the sound quality is outstanding. Even playing without an amp feels great. The tremolo is reliable, and it's a lot of fun to use. Your channel is great, cheers from Poland!
Nice sound test. The Sky Burst is gorgeous in person, but I ended up keeping the hardtail Sunset Metallic. On both, yeah, the white plastics are the only thing that feels they cheaped out. The neck, paint, pickups, wiring are great.
I put a Seymour Duncan super distortion hot rail in the bridge. Def a good upgrade. I can do my heavy chuggs then switch to the neck single coil and just roll off some volume and tone to get my boomer blues licks in. Its nice versatility.
I was literally thinking of doing the same thing… only thing stopping me is that I’m a complete noob when it comes to wiring, if position 1 is bridge and middle in a humbucker configuration, did you have to rewire it so position 1 was just your hot rails in the bridge? If so was it easy enough to do?
@@theguitarmanifestodo you know when they made these? I bought my Pearl white hard tail model only a few months after they released and I always thought the roasted maple fingerboard looked better than the darker fretboard mine has. I never say them with the maple board.
'fashionably late' 🤣 the roasted maple feels really nice, reminds me of the J mascis/deluxe Jazzmaster, I wouldn't mind trying the Indian Laurel version.
Looks like a fender lead. If Squier makes a guitar that takes off in sales like the pawnshop 51, a Fender version is sure to follow and if Fender makes a guitar that doesn't sell it gets relaunched as a squier.
Yeah they're from the contemporary series but i don't think it's a FSR. They have them listed on the fender website and they don't put FSR guitars on there. But it's a good looking guitar nonetheless! Cheers!

I have Squier Contemporary Jaguar RN , and I surely can say that it’s Amazing !!! Hope you’ll try it , and make a video about it!
Yes! They are red alert on my radar!!! I missed a cheap one a few weeks back I was gutted. Soon as I find a good deal it'll be on the channel 💯

Thank you! The sky burst is a beaut as is the sunset metallic 👌 all in all it's an awesome guitar 🎸💯

Very cool. Squier China made some very sweet guitars no doubt about it. Sweetwater has a new one just like yours listed for $450 US dollars. Cheers!
They really are awesome, ooh I got a score 👌
I am sure you could get some nice knobs for it if it bothers you. Anyway these premium Squiers are really something to consider.
My point being what the heck were they thinking 🤣
Great looking guitar Meat. I like the sound of the no.1 position
It's a solid guitar, I agree 1 sounds great 👌🎸
How did you get that color? The only ones I’ve seen around are black or blueburst
It's now discontinued

I've only met ONE Strat Middle Pickup I liked -now THIS is THE position IMO....
YMMV?
To be fair people tend to listen with their eyes, middle position is very underrated 💯
I'm a little late getting to watch this one! Still sounds and looks great! I've yet to play a roasted maple neck. Love the black and chrome headstock!

@@theguitarmanifesto 😹I haven't tried Indian Laurel either!!??
It's pretty good but dries quickly

That's legit true 🤣💯
The 😂 squier p51 or what ever is called wasn't a smash hit seller but I hear you !
I wonder, can this loaded guard fit on a standard ?
Depends what the routing is like.
Cool guitar 🎸
She sure is 🎸👌🤩
Me likey. 😃
She's a real beauty 🤩🎸
9:00 song please
