Absolutely great. Nobuo san really killed it on the composition for this piece, and hilariously- it was an afterthought! He composed it in like a few minutes. Genius. And now it's being played by a wonderful and talented harpist! Wish my harp had 33 strings, but alas, it's a replica of the 24 string Glarean gothic harp. Anyway- Please keep up the great work :)

Wonderful as always, dearie! You are a maestro when it comes to your harp! It's like we feel your serenity flowing through you and out of the harp and right to our ears! This song is so fitting especially since FFXIV's first expansion "Heavensward" just launched this past Tuesday! Brava!

I was wondering if this was actually playable for a live harpist, the arpeggio's range seemed like it would exceed the range of the harp. Also the business with the notes outside the key would have been an issue with the pedals.
Glad to know it could be done though!
Well, there are different sizes of harps, so it might not fit on all harps. Pedal harps usually have 46-47 strings, so it is quite a large range. And there are fewer pedal changes than you might think; but I wouldn't want to try it on a lever harp.
I see, do you think you could judge if a sequenced piece of harp music is realistic? There's a cue from Final Fantasy IX called "Eternal Harvest" that I'd like to properly sequence, but it features a harp line all throughout, and modulates up a minor 2nd at the end.
Tbh I have no idea lol. Generally semitone modulations are no fun, but, it's hard to say without know what the music is like.
Ah well, I guess it's not important enough to merit trespassing on your free time. I'll just take some artistic liberties with the score, and place a bridge before the modulation to afford the harpist time to reset(?) the pedals. Or I might just rearrange the key change to jump up a perfect fourth or fifth so there isn't much work to do.
