When the weight of the world's pressing down upon you now
Oh I worry like the junkie, he worries where he'll get his fix
Oh like the wives of Henry the 8th, they have to worry if they'd be next
Oh I worry like the monster, just trying to find a way to live
And like the knight upon his steed, clad in steel, who seeks his head
Oh and what to do with all I've thought
All I've seen in these dreams
What to make, of all I've done
All I've said, who I've been
And where to run
When the weight of the world's pressing down upon you now
It would seem it was all just a dream after all
And in that dream, neither inspired nor divine, what did I find?
I found in the moments when I was weak
Would've taken resignation over defeat
And in that fragile state of mind, couldn't have known what it would mean
I worry in the mornings when I first get out of bed
Oh and it carries on through the day, until the porter can clear my head
Oh I worry in the darkness when I lay awake at night
Oh I worry that the worry, is taking years off my life
Oh I worry, worry, I worry all the goddamn time
It's like a prayer for what you fear
It's like a cure for peace of mind"
