Mucleboy01 Right, that's what I'm saying. People give Joe lots of flack, but not our defense. Reed, Suggs, Lewis had opportunities to "be GOATs" Because Ozzie generally did a nice job of surrounding those guys with the pieces around them they needed from tackles, roleplaying DEs, to corners. So they could do what they do fearlessly and ferociously. Sadly the offense was never regularly stacked with depth the way the defense historically was.

Ed Reed has to no doubt be first ballot, and the NFL Hall of Fame better be ready for an influx of Miami Hurricanes coming up. Reggie Wayne, Vince Wilfork, Andre Johnson, Devin Hester, Frank Gore, Edgerrin James, Greg Olsen, Jonathan Vilma, Jimmy Graham, and Sean Taylor had his life had not been cut short, ST26, would’ve been one of the best NFL Canes of all time. These names above will definitely be considered, with some, or most making the HOF eventually. It’s all about the U. Raven fans, you all got to enjoy two of the finest Canes of all times. We share admiration for these two in this video.
Not an emotional guy but this made me emotional, Too see them both back together. All I know is Reed better be 1st ballot. I think its unquestioned Reed is the best to ever do it at his position; So was Ray. People make me laugh when the try to pull Nitchske, Singletary or Butkis out; Stop it. I think they would tell you he's the best. This is coming from a Dallas fan. #SugarBearandPigeonToedRaven.
It will be interesting with the DB's. Ed Reed and Champ Bailey will both up next year, Troy Polomalu for 2020, Charles Woodson 2021. You still have John Lynch, Steve Atwater, Ty Law, Everson Walls still on the ballot. I don't see two DB's getting in next year.
Poison I see the Lott opinion, in my opinion he's not as good as Reed. You can say he was a better tackler but taking in context Lott game was centered around tackling. Reed could play any position in the D-Backfield and control the game. He had the playmaking ability of Deon(to a lesser degree), the box presence of Atwater and the instincts of Lott(to a bit of a lesser degree). He was just more dynamic and definitely more athletic(which is not a real big deal but is important). Like your top 3 list.
boxing first Lott has one less interception than reed. More forced fumbles. 2 less tds than reed. And damn near twice as many tackles. Love reed but Lott>Reed.
Charles He's better than all of them. Woodson is the only one to me(and lynch to a lesser degree) who may have a fight, but history says not the best at his position. Maybe 2-3 other players eligible in front of him including Bailey(Maybe). I get Law too because its about that time. Crazy thing i don't agree but your not wrong at all.
Loved this... seeing the best defensive duo back together again. Thank you both for your dedication and passion for not only the game of football but more importantly for Ravens Nation. Ray this induction is well deserved, and I cannot wait to see Ed join you there next year...
I miss these brothers in football, I was watching the highlights on these brothers unbelievable players, they was football hawks 🙂 . I really miss them in the game of football.
Bro I use to hate when my Steelers faced these two because they use to push my boys to their limits and they had legendary battles but I respect the hell out of them. Ed Reed will no doubt be a first ballot HOF and he along with Troy are the greatest safeties to ever play this game. I'm giving respect where it's due and this is coming from a die hard Steelers fan. 52 and 20 are a nightmare for any team and any era.
To see Ed and Ray play was poetry in motion, and a complete honor.....these men were part of the “ Baltimore Bullies “......throw in Sizzle, Ngata, and Sam and you have Godzilla on the gridiron......loved playing the Steelers, win or lose.....
julianreed7 he went off to another career. Dude is a genius but i know. He was great but his longevity is not there. I can't say he was a Kevin Mawae or even a Matt Birk but he was great.
As a day 1 Baltimore Raven fanatic, I can certainly say i've been blessed. Blessed with following the careers of these 2 athletes. It will never happen again! greatness is DEFINED by the measuring stick these 2 designed. You just don't see this All-Pro, NFL-MVP, Hall of Fame 1st ballot TWICE, as Ray pointed out, TWICE!!! From the same team, same University even. At THAT level!!! That is pure storybook. Case opened, case CLOSED. Thank you 52 and 20, thank you.
I would love a movie showing their journey and them playing together, strategizing, in the NFL. I miss these days so much! I live in Washington and am a die hard #12 but whenever I played Madden, I'd always play as the Ravens just so I could use Ray and Ed.

Sean Taylor.
My two favorite players of all time.
Sad thinking I'll never get to see that amazing legendary defense take the field ever again.
Best two too ever do it (my generation)
Back to watch it again!!

They were the heart & soul, the glue & the Batman & Robin of the Ravens!! They'll never be another Ray or Ed.
Ed Reed is for SURE a top 3 safety of all time, but I will always call Ronnie Lott the greatest to ever do it, but Polomalu and Reed are 2 & 3
Poison I see the Lott opinion, in my opinion he's not as good as Reed.
Two of the greatest players from Da U & the NFL. Watching them play football was an honor. Thank you gentleman
Damn 😂 ed reed look like a truck driver 😂😂😂.
Fredrick Douglas 😂😂
Hit like a truck too.

It's something special when two people have the exact same mindset. Great things automatically happen 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🔥🔥🔥
Reed and Lewis on the same team ....WOW I loved watching them
Two of the best ever The U no other way
To see Ed and Ray play was poetry in motion, and a complete honor.....these men were part of the “ Baltimore Bullies “......throw in Sizzle, Ngata, and Sam and you have Godzilla on the gridiron......loved playing the Steelers, win or lose.....
52Lewis 20Reed RIP 21Taylor.#THEU.
David Huff shut up bitch lmao
My favorite 2 players of all time, salute and thank you!
Ed Reed HOF C/O 2019! Let's do it. Three drafted Ravens into the HOF.
Man... I always loved using the Ravens in madden from 2005 to 2010. I grew up watching these guys and boy, they were something else.
Suggs, Ngata, Yanda up next.
julianreed7 facts
julianreed7 Yanda? Idk lol
D Ellis He's been the top ranked player at his position for 5 or 6 years. Season ending injury last year.
julianreed7 he went off to another career. Dude is a genius but i know. He was great but his longevity is not there. I can't say he was a Kevin Mawae or even a Matt Birk but he was great.
julianreed7 wrong guy. Urschel was the guy that retired. My bad dude. Yeah. He will be there in the HOF. Shoulda did my research😁😁😁😁😁
Ed Reed and Ray Lewis these two are the best of my book what's good
Sugar Ray and Quick 🐐🐐
Mindy Gaines I get it😂😂
As a day 1 Baltimore Raven fanatic, I can certainly say i've been blessed.
RAY LEWIS AND ED REED ONE TWO PUNCH 👊
This video still gives chills and tears man…
Ball hawking ED Reed In tha Land Shark the best duo ever
I would love a movie showing their journey and them playing together, strategizing, in the NFL. I miss these days so much! I live in Washington and am a die hard #12 but whenever I played Madden, I'd always play as the Ravens just so I could use Ray and Ed.
