Is To Say "Thank-you" For This Lovely YouTubio, I Enjoy The Tomato Very Much and Had No Idea Of All These Variations, Just The Tiny, Medium, and Humongous Ones From The Market, Now I Wish To Tryna Them All! Thank-you So Much!.. 🍅
Thank you for your comment and I'm glad that you enjoyed the video. There is so many tomato verities that it impossible to try them all. But one can keep trying 😊
Your garden is awesome! All the varieties looked great. You’ve inspired me to try more next year haha I’m glad you said what zone you’re in, I was about to ask. Please keep creating:)
Thank you for your comment! I like to experiment with different verities. This really motivates me to garden if I can try something that I normally would not be able to get at the store. I do the same thing with potatoes, herbs, and this year I tried few different verities of onions.
I've had that kind of curling on random plants before. It is not because of the variety, so please grow Black Cherry again! It's one of the best tasting cherry tomatoes. Just buy them from another company, in case there was a problem with the seeds.
Cherokee Purple you miss pronounced but it's a great tomatoes I'm Mid Ohio 6a and Black Krim are my favorite for it's early season steady production and one of my top favorites and my experience best for my slicers and wife's favorite. Black Brandywine is my favorite for taste Midnight Snack for snacks
MAN i cant wait to have my tomatoes again. i am growing 48 verities and over 100 plants. i love them. we can a lot of them for the winter. salas and pasta sause
Wow 48 verities and over 100 plants! That is a lot! Looks like we share love for tomatoes 😊. My plan was to can all my leftover tomatoes but I did not get to it yet. My new batch of tomatoes is already started but the tomatoes from last year are waiting patiently in the freezer to be canned. Hopefully I'll get to it this month.
Thanks so much for your kind words! I really like dehydrating them for tomato paste lol 😆 I really can’t wait for the summer but canning in the summer heat is not fun at all! I normally spend every other day canning! Lol
Awesome! I loved getting an update on all the tomatoes. Everything in my garden has been two weeks behind this year, so it may not be your climate that is slow--it might be this particular year.
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed an update on my tomatoes. I really hope this is just this particular year that everything seems to be behind. Waiting till late August to get some tomatoes makes me want to invest in a greenhouse. 😊
I'm late to the party but i'm glad I found your channel! It's always a delight to find new gardening content, especially ones like yours which are so calm and soothing, and seem very sincere, and all your plants look so healthy. I live in a country with a less than ideal climate for most heirlooms, so I always look forward to heirloom tomato videos so I can live vicariously through the gardener. 😄 Looking forward to more videos 😊 Much love from the Philippines!
Thank you for your kind comment. I also live in less than ideal climate for a lot of heirlooms but I'm still trying to plant them and experiment with new varieties. A lot of them fail but some surprisingly do well 😁. There is a lot of plants that I daydream about that would just not do well here in my climate like Star Fruit, so I can relate to living "vicariously through the gardener " ❤️
You don't need to prune Black Cherry so hard. Try to leave at least 5 stems, and then the yield will be much higher. I always do this with cherry varieties. Because their small fruits do not require much energy from the plant.
Thank you for the suggestion. My first year gardening, I let my tomatoes go and I did not prune them almost at all and that year I think I had the biggest harvest. Back then I thought it was just beginner's luck 😁. I'll go easy on pruning cherry tomatoes next year.
I will try to rotate my tomatoes this year. The trellises are movable so it should be relatively easy to move them to a different spot. Also, I'm thinking of scaling down a little on tomatoes this year to give my soil a break and try something new. Thank you for the advice.@@Ms.Forsyth
Thank you for the suggestion. I was planing to do a chemical analysis last year but the time just got away from me. I also invested in microscope to see all the biology in the soil. This year I will invest more in learning about my soil and improve it based on my finding.
Sweet, exotic, beautiful... the tomatoes are good too. No but seriously, great video.
So happy I discovered your channel! Your presentation is authentic and natural and I look forward to your future videos, especially garden tours.
Thank you for your kind comment. 😊The gardening season of 2023 is just around the corner and I will be posting garden tours regularly.
Just finding your channel. I love seeing all the varieties!

I have a heart for tomatoes on my way is growing more than I can eat. I'm enjoying your videos and I subscribe to your Channel today.
I hope you don't give up on, Black From Tula, it really is a fantastic tasting tomato and referred to as the "best of the Blacks" for a reason!

All Brandywine tomatoes are delicious! 🙂👍
Yes! I love Pin Brandywine tomatoes but I really want to try Red and Yellow Brandywine tomatoes. Can't wait for 2023 garden season.
@@skyblueoasis3147I've tried those two varieties you mentioned. Both are very tasty!

I am in Central Indiana where (generally) are you? And where were you before?
We used to be neighbors 😊. I moved from Northern Illinois to Western Colorado.
Those kale are huge! They could be robbing sunlight as well as nitrogen.
Yes they are gigantic and don't belong in the tomato bed. 😂 I will make some changes this season.
You're as sweet as a Praire Fire
Awww thank you!
👍👍🇱🇰
Thank you for watching!
It could be bacterial wilt,
It is not a mystery.
I was thinking that too but would't bacteria wilt spread to the neighboring plants?
@@skyblueoasis3147 Rotate your Tomatoes the best way to doit not to plant the same spot bacterial pathogen can stay in the ground up to two years

I switched To chocolate cherry and have a better harvest than black cherry or black from Tula.
Thank you for the suggestion. I will try chocolate cherry next year. I already placed seed order so I don't forget. 😊
