In my experience, the biggest problem with parallettes is practicing any chest to wall progression, which is crucial to understand how to align your body while keeping a posterior pelvic tilt and avoid banana back. Getting in position with parallettes is demanding and ineffective unless you have both the flexibility and technique to kick up or cartwheel into the wall in a very restricted space. Any other technique like walking with your hands holding the parallettes or walking over them results in being too far from the wall, it's fatiguing and again, inefficient. Training back to wall only makes you good at controlling overbalance, but not underbalance which is often neglected. That's why many people practice on parallettes just doing freestanding attempts and skipping underbalance until they can hold the handstand and then playing around with underbalancing. It works but the process is longer compared to when training both positions. I practice chest to wall holds and toe pulls on parallettes as near to the wall as my flexibility allows and then getting into a scissor position with my legs, one touching the wall as support. In this way I can still practice and get familiar with the position, even if it isn't optimal because of the longer distance from the wall, which basically eliminates any reference for good positioning (toes and chest touching the wall).
That is so cool! I just saw your Learning to handstand in one month video and you have come a long way! I am starting to learn to skateboard and your dedication is an inspiration to me. I hope I become as good as you in skateboarding in one year 😃. Also, I am not an english speaker so you have become international 😎
Wow thanks man, I really hope you do! If you just stay committed to it you definitely will! Not sure about how successful becoming international would be as I can only speak English 😂
i did only attempt to first hold 10 second now i loser my balance after 3 month not everyday trainning handstand now is only 10 second before i reach 35second

Thank you for this video. Hurts my hands like hell but I feel that I’m going in the right direction
very well done brother.... well explained, easy and not over contemplated
is it possible to handstand without paralettes or the floor, as in mid air? lovely video btw
It's definitely possible but there's a prerequisite skill called hovering that you want to be fairly confident in beforehand
