He calls it „kidnapping“ in the Maroccain context but obviously it proceeded not naturally but organized. My mother used to tell me that suddenly one day all Jewish neighbors in Aleppo (Syria) disappeared. That they were having meal together before and no one talked about anything and the other day, everyone wasn‘t there anymore and that until today she couldn’‘t tell why they have gone and how it had happened on one single day. My grandma‘s best friend was Jewish and she was very disappointed that she‘d gone without telling her.

in 1944, Syria prohibited any Jews from going to Mandate Palestine. They stopped allowing the teaching of Hebrew in,any Jewish schools. There were more attacks against Jews and Jewish businesses were boycotted,
When the Partition plan was offered in 1947, there was an attack on the Jews who lived in Syria for 2500 years. Many Jews were killed, over 200 Jewish homes, shops, and Synogogues were destroyed. The Jews found ways to illegally flee to Israel, After those Jews left the government made it more difficult for Jews living In Syria, Jews who tried to flee. Faced the death penalty or prison im,a hard labor camp, Jews were not allowed to work for the government or banks, could not get telephones or drivers licenses, they could not buy or sell property and their Bank accounts were frozen. They paved over the Jewish cemetery in Damascus and the Jewish schools were closed and the buildings were given ti the Muslims. Syria took in Nazi war criminals and they worked for Assad
By 1987.,the Secret police they seized 10 Jews saying. They planned to leave Syria that were tortured
Jews in Syria lived in fear every day, the Jews were under surveillance by the Secret police. They could not meet with any foreignersm In Order to travel away from Syria they were forced to post a bond of $1,000- which the family was then watched. If the person did not return then the family was often arrested,
By 1994, Israel had many undercover operations ti try to get Jews to Israel. By the 1990s some Jews could get exit visas if they were not going to Israel, so they went to the US or UK then to Israel and the US put pressure on Syria to allow the Jews to leave.,
By 1994, the Synogogue in,Aleppo which was used daily for over 1600 yeard was deserted,
By 2001, the only minorities In Syria were Jews and Kurdsm In the Syrian civil war the Syrian forces destroyed many ancient Jewish Synogogues and Cemeteries. The Final Jews left in Aleppo were rescued in 2015. Over 62% of the Jewish sites in Syria were destroyed or severely damaged. The government spews Jewish hate on the TV and radio,

At no time in history was the Land Of Palestine call "Israel" before 1948. Herodotus, in 400 BC, used Palestine. So did the Greeks, Persians, and all the ancient peoples of history. In fact, "The Land Of Israel" is only a theological concept, not historical, which was seized by the European Zionist movement from Jewish mythology. The only Jewish Kingdom in Palestine was the Hasmonean period, which was called Judea, in a land the Romans called Palestine. Palestine is the most continually inhabited civilization in human history and today's Palestinian would be one of the oldest communities in world history until the European Zionists movement manufactured the "Jewish people" out of Russians, Poles, and other Europeans and later expanding it to include Iraqis, Morrocans, and god knows what, using fairy tales found in the bible. Ask any Zionist about the history of Israel prior to 1948 and they will answer with Jewish mythology. Zionist will say that the "Jewish people" has existed for 4000 years and "Eretz Israel" has always belonged to it. The whole Land Of Israel game is underpinned by historical fantasies and is complete and utter bullshit.

They’re not actually the ethnicities of European homelands they were residing in. These are people from the Levant who roamed around Europe and only came into society after Napoleon interfered in his subject nations affairs of citizenship. None of them had ancestors originally from what is nowadays Israel, Gaza or the West Bank. Where are the descendants from the supposed "continuous Jewish presence" in Palestine???
Their ancestors came from somewhere else (Maghreb, Eastern Europe...) mainly because of the Zionist ideology...
On the other hand, most Palestinian people have ancestors that always lived in that same area (Gaza, West Bank and nowadays Israel): families that have lived there for many generations throughout centuries, before Israel was established and even before British control. Palestinian people's DNA is way more Middle Eastern, Semitic, and related to the Levantine area!!! They have all the right to remain in Gaza, the West Bank and even Israel, as they are indigenous to the area. Palestinians should also have a sovereign independent country in Gaza and the West Bank (Palestinian territories)!!!
And this video leads anyone to think that Jews from Arab countries emigrated to what is nowadays Israel very much because of Zionism and/or religious reasons, not being "persecution" the main reason...

      2. If you learned some history you would learn that the Jews were living abroad because they were forced to. They have always wanted to come back. It's the exact same feeling the Palestinians are feeling right now. Who are you to say the jew's feeling of ownership of the land isn't justified but the palestinians' is?

It's already proven by anthropological (linguistic, historian + genetic; autosomal, haplogroup, admixture) evidence that modern day Jews do descend from ancient Levantines, that includes Mizrahi, Ashkenazi and Sephardi. Google is your fucking friend. Palestinians are Arabs who came from the Arabian peninsula, they cluster closely to Jordanians and Saudi Arabians, many genetic studies point to an Arabian peninsular origin for the Palestinian Arabs. They are not fucking Levantines, they're cultural invaders from antiquity. There are no serious credible non-left wing sources that contradict this. Everything you said has been said before, debunked before and discussed before, you're fucking new to this mate. You have a lot of things to catch on.
Even old timer Pro-Pallycucks are slowly coming to terms that Palestinians are pretentious Levantines, that's why a lot of you point to accusing that the use of genetic studies for nationalism makes you a Nazi.
Then some of you say that genetic cultural ties to Israel don't matter anymore, you make inconsistent arguments. The beliefs of the Pro-Palestine community are DIVERSE AS FUCK, that's why you'll never win. You just come up with anything that suits you to attack Zionism, not because there are things in it you disagree with, but you disagree with it for the fuck of it.
Pallycucks are on the defensive in the debate, at least on the deeper intellectual and scientific levels. You may win the Propaganda war, but when push comes to shove, you're all useful idiots and we're stripping you naked.

Israel is a country because it gained independence. Returning to your homeland and forming a state is a valid independence movement. Jewish culture has always been conmected to the land, and they won the independence war, so now they're an independent nation. It's like if a native american people displaced in Oklahoma starts an independence movement to take back the land they came from. It's a justified movement

    • @Logeekistics
      @Logeekistics 3 года назад

JerkySwiner215 it’s a bit more complicated than that. Since your analogy doesn’t quite apply the same. Even though you are basically saying war is justifiable as long as you win. Wars are bloody and messy and should be avoided.
May be if Israel tried to create a country that included the natives as part of the process instead of just a country for themselves while there were natives still there it would be a less tragic situation.
Also the natives there were also Jewish. So it’s one group of Jews making that decision on their behalf. Also the Christian/Muslim natives have the same culture of the Jews. So why does it have to one literal version of religious culture?
Are only certain extremist allowed to be called Jews only?
If the definition is not strict then the same idea that other people of similar faith are good enough as well. They didn’t need to displace the other natives like that and included them instead.

    • @SumSum030
      @SumSum030 3 года назад

@@Logeekistics I'm not at all saying wars shouldn't be avoided, I'm just saying they are justifiable if rebelling against someone who has no business in your land. In this case, the British. Israel tried to create 2 states, at once taking just a tiny part of the North, but Arab leaders refused. Then another deal came, Arab leaders refused and declared war on the newly independent nation. People were displaced, but the occupation didn't start until ANOTHER war. So we have it down that we shouldn't blame it all on the Israeli government, and Arab leaders from other areas should intervene less.

Charles N Because the Ashkenazi Jews are a Jewish diaspora population who coalesced in the Holy Roman Empire. The Ashkenazi by ethnicity are not Semitic, and not the descendants of the ancient Canaanites and Israelites. They are originally Khazars, whose King converted to Judaism in the 8th century AD. They were a semi-nomadic Turkic people with a confederation of Turkic-speaking tribes that in the late 6th century CE established a major commercial empire covering the southeastern section of modern European Russia. The Mizrahi Jews, or Oriental Jews, is a term referring to the descendants of the Jewish communities that had existed in the Middle East and North-East Africa from biblical times into the modern era. Palestinian Jews and the Samaritans belong to this group.
The Mizrahi Jews and the Samaritans are the ONLY Jews who’s got a legitimate claim to the land that we today call Israel. They have been living peacefully with their Muslim and Christians neighbour for two thousand years, until the British started to stir things up in the 20th century ......

@@trinitybertinelli552 Exactly, Jerusalem is sacred to everyone, Christian tourists come every year to pray in Jerusalem, why are there no problems with them? If you learned about religions you would understand that Muhammad gave an instruction to pray to the Jewish Temple. Why can't Jews pray on their Temple Mount? Sounds like your opinion is very non-objective, to keep the Jew in Morocco? Why? Do Afghans have no right to return to their land? Will the Syrians not be able to return to their land? Why should the Jews not return to their land? Last Christmas a fir tree burned in a Muslim city, is that the equality you are talking about? Or perhaps to praise the actions of a terrorist who murdered 15 Israelis, including 8 children. Do you keep the law? Israel is a democratic state, and it is strange that you say that before Israel was created, everything was good, if you compare the similar situation of Israel with some oppressive countries, there is no immigration in Israel. It has equal rights for all, and anyone who does not keep the law, Jewish or Muslim or Christian, is in prison.

I am from Afghanistan and had 3 jewish nieghbors. They had businesses right beside my parents' and as far as I remember were treated well and respeced. The kids would play with us and one of them actually went to high school with me and was a friend of mine. In 1978 after the communist coupe, they all left for Israel. After a very long time I finally got in touch with my friend who at the time lived in a settlment in the west bank. He had become very politicized by then and spoke of zinonism and how Arabs in Palestine were squatters and the whole of Palestinne should be cleansed of them. Can't remember the exact argument as it was in the early 2000s' that we exchanged messages. There may have incidents of violence against jews after the conflict but before that, I don't believe there was any pursecution as is claimed by many jews who emmigrated out muslim majority countries. I think they should be happy for what they already have and let the palestinians have a state of their own. The west support for zionism may have a sinister purpose which may very well be a 5th crusaide to clear this land of muslims but as soon as muslims are out, they will turn on the jews next.

I find it interesting: when Jews lived in other countries, we were considered Jews. Part of a minority population. Definitely the "other". Now we (Jews, yes I'm a Jew) live in Israel and we get put into categories based on where our parents and grandparents were from. I guess humans just have a need to categorize. I know it's useful. It tells us about each other. I also think it's relevant. It matters somehow. Where we come influences our beliefs, our personality, how we relate to others. It may even influence our intelligence. For sure the way we look and dress and act. But I think ultimately, we need to choose to focus on what we have in common rather than what devides us because the whole world have already decided that we are Jews. That being said, I don't ever want to marry a Moraccan.

My parents came here from Russia in the seventies. I think it's worth noting when saying Zionism, specifically in my mum's case, she described how they had to have their Zionist underground clubs, learn hebrew in secret, they basically fled Communist russia when in the 70's around 250,000 jews were !allowed! to leave the Soviet union (about 150,000 went to israel, the other 100,000 spread around the world) They felt very unwanted and were always told they are not Russian but jews and should leave. They had to leave everything behind (if an artist made art they had to leave it behind not allowed to take money with them, their own jewelry- they could only keep one piece per person, the rest....) And they came here. Now we're told we're not wanted here and to go back. When will this end?
I was born here, i didnt get a choice, personally i would've prefferd they chose england, Canada or even texas as some of our relatives have, but no one gets to decide where they're born.

1.Surprising how the reason for Jews primarily is to follow their religious rights but hippocratatly only the minority orthodox jew still really follow that supposedly god given right and practice their religion. As time went by they forgot about practicing their religion duty
    2. Everything is legislation apart from the one god told them in their holy book has any body confirmed this from god
And if they did .How ?

      1. lol, that is kind of funny isn't it. like religion being so important and then only a few generations later so many are marrying outside and even atheist. it was like that in the United States too, with a lot of immigrants being Huguenots and Alsatians and Quakers and all sorts of things and fleeing religious persecution, and then a lot not taking religion seriously anymore-- although I think it took longer than just a few generations, but that could be because the times are really changing to be less religious all over the world now

Well, About 40% of Israeli Jews are religious( in different levels) . It depends where you go tho. In Jerusalem and Bnei Brak you'll barely find any secular Jews. While in Tel Aviv, it's most secular. I'm a religious Jew and I live in Tel Aviv. we keep the Torah, if you really wanna know. Our convinant with God is unbroken.
      Peace from Israel ❤️

Pay attention how many times people interviewed say or use the expression "RETURN to the Land". Gil doesn't bring this out.

Haha, when the guy with Yemenite background tells that he has some Polish in him too and there is silence a little too long you say "where?" The Corey Sarcasm as we know it.
Love this project! Thanks for making both sides reflect.
