I think a lot of the questions in this were predicated on a misunderstanding of AI's implications. When AGI is achieved there isn't any concrete skill that will allow a human to retain economic value. We need a fundamental restructuring of economics.

There's one key factor that Altman always glosses over. The human bandwidth to consume services, content, and products will NOT increase. However, if AI will greatly accelerate human capabilities to generate all these things, seemingly exponentially, what happens in an economy? The Web itself is already well on its way to generating far more content than is consumable.
We should switch to a new system, capitalism is a trash one anyway, rich get richer and poor get poorer, most people can't even afford a house anymore. I would understand if everyone had equals chances, but its only getting worse and worse, and we're all driven by money not by logic and feelings.
