Your channel appeared in my reccomended and fantastic guide! Loving the content so far. Lot of good advice and tips. I guess if I had any tips for newer players? Sea offers a variety of ways of fighting. Whether its conventional or just winging it on a wild idea. Be creative. There are those that are just really good at pvp, and those who think outside the box. You'd be surprised what can work in your favor in this game.
Best strat for when you're being chased; swim to their ship, board them if possible and then aggressively play shanties at them. Bonus points if you've unlocked A Pirates Life For Me or Monkey Island shanties.
Thank you so much for giving tips from the controller side of things. Im so excited to get to play tomorrow!
i have been playing this game for a very long time with my dad for over 2000 hours now. the only game i play consistent. and even i learned things from the video. thanks for helping our new console friends and you earned yourself a new sub. keep up the great content.
As a new player, the best tip I can give you PlayStation players, is to always anchor with your sails down. This has definitely not caused a substantial amount of loss and strife. 😊
👀🤭🤭🤭
Really good video, I feel like this video is perfect for new players ❤ also people could use Ghost fleets to practice Cannon aim
Hey great video just getting started on ps5 so very helpful indeed and hey I'm the 250th subscriber because of it 😂
Underrated channel, thanks for this 🔥😄👍🏻
Thank you! 😄
You getting grabbed by the kraken during that fight cracks me up every time.
being solo can definitely be a very hard start but if you master solo play it can be a great advantage even when being in a crew i have found as a solo sloop I can take on half descent galleon crews from my experience as a solo and it gives me the ability to do any job when working in a crew
Absolutely! It can be disheartening at first, but you're totally right. An experienced solo can be quite dangerous on the seas. ❤️
Super quality video! Subbed.
Much appreciated!
As a player with a long time in the game on top of lots and lots of PvP experience, a few of the simplest but often overlooked tips I can give to you new Ps5 players are
. Never leave your boat without good food and supplies
. Never go for a board attempt if you have any holes on your boat no matter how small
. When in an hourglass match and trying to steer your opponent out of bounds, make sure your boat is in a hard left rotation
. Always try to give yourself left side cannons when possible
. Never anchor
. Buy supplies from the merchant and shipwright representatives at any outposts before setting off on your journey
. Never underestimate your opponent
. Never trust a pirate
. And most importantly, enjoy yourself and have fun!
That’s all I can think of at the moment, hope to see you on the high seas someday! 😁
As a someone who's been playing sea of thieves for a long time. I felt "If you're not sinking you're not learning." Couldn't be more crucially more true. Despite the amount of hours I run away and avoid other players if I can. Only now i've become more bold and figuring out what to do when I sink. Secondly, ONLY 300 SUBS. NAHHH FAM. lets get you to 1k
Even as an old player this is still a very informative video, thanks again for a great video always happy when I see you upload.
Thank you so much! ☺️
These are genuinely great tips!!
I got the game on ps5 and I even got my mom the game and I been watching so much stuff on sea of thieves and learning I ofc got me and my mom the premium edition but I appreciate the tips also how come you haven't blown up and I would like to see gameplay or stuff about curses and other stuff maybe we can play some time and have a good day
Aww! You're going to play with your mom?! That's awesome! 🤩
I haven't blown up because I don't keep kegs on my ship. 🤭 Jk. But thank you! 😊
I'm planning on some gameplay soon, and will see what I can come up with for curses.
When I went to subscribe I thought you would have couple hundred thousand subscribers, when I saw the real number I had to click on it just to make sure it wasn’t 240k
lol. I'm literally dying from laughter now. Thank you. That's so kind! 😄
Hello nice to hear your thoughts on getting engaged with the enemy 😊😊
You always outrun brig on sloop by going against the wind sloop is fastest ship against the wind
Theoretically, yes... but it's the tiniest speed difference from sloop to brig. A good brig crew is going to capitalize on the slightest wind change & gain back any ground that you thought you had-- especially on a new crew.
The point of that section was to say you're not really losing anything if you take the fight and sink. You're not going to learn how to sink a brig if you're always focused on running from them.
tip 6 isn't that good. You can just walk around at the outpost where you spawn with a storage crate and get everything you need including chain shots, cursed bullets etc. Particularly good at Port merick. You're faster. And the threat from other ships is also minimal since many ships don't go after freshly spawned ships. even if you didnt spawn there you can loot this better and faster as a fort.
You can even dive for a ship raid to get cannon balls and wood and something to eat... if you realy need it.
tip 4 is extreme... yes you should be pretty careful, but that's too extreme. In general, be careful at world events and when ships approach strangely and then move away again. 95% will not camp on your ship for 5 hours. But paying attention to the sound of weapons... especially with other crew members on the boat... You've failed if people have managed to get on your boat... after that it doesn't theoretically matter.
Fair point. I just tend to get better food from sea forts than outposts... and I don't think you'll always spawn at an outpost after sinking, unless you're doing hg.
You also don't have to complete the fort to take the supplies. 🤗
@@l8dyhysteria yes the same comes for skeleton forts too and you're not annoyed by phantoms. And after sinking you normally dont have a storage crate which you should use for this fort... yeah you get more food and so you have a better chance to get better food. but isnt realy important. just for PVP.
ahahahhahah she does not know how to run from a brig
Do you pride yourself on run strats...? Weird flex bro.
New players can barely outrun the same ship type. My point was to discourage running and to face tough situations.
@@l8dyhysteria if you have tried to fight but failed miserably then you run
it is an escape strat as opposed to running from everything you see and if a player is new that is what i would recommend they do anyways
I understand that is the advice that *you* would give. But I stand by what I said.
I was on a brig the other day and we caught up to every ship we saw. There were either rocks, islands, or the red sea that forced them to turn to give us enough wind. A competent brig that wants to sink a runner (or attempted escape artist) is going to chase long enough for one of those factors to work in their favor.
We were even able to trick an experienced crew by turning to catch slight wind-- which encouraged them to “turn away,” giving us full wind after we adjusted.
So, I hard disagree with your sentiment that “I don't know how to run from a brig.” I have BEEN the brig, sir. 😈
well, you are just toxic
Sarcasm doesn't come through text very well. But I'm going to assume you're being funny. 😏
