  • Agree or Disagree... not every business owner is an entrepreneur.
Everyone that owns a business tends to call themselves an entrepreneur, but I disagree.
There are three distinct types of individuals who earn independently: Freelancers, Business Owners/CEOs, and Entrepreneurs.
Freelancer: As a freelancer, you call the shots. You balance the work for your clients while juggling business operations. With no conventional boss to account to, you get to serve multiple clients, all the while relishing the extra flexibility and security your role offers.
Business Owner/CEO: Now, let's say you've made the leap from trading your time for money to strategically leveraging the skills and resources of others. Congratulations, you've moved up the ladder to become a business owner or CEO. You've got the liberty to earn without always being physically present - a significant level up from a freelancer!
Entrepreneur: Picture this - no constraints on the number of income streams or businesses you handle. As an entrepreneur, you're more of a maestro, aligning resources to craft stellar results. You're all geared up to deliver quicker, more efficiently, and with improved odds of success. After all, you don't put all your eggs in one basket, do you?
Success is possible in any of the three roles - freelancer, CEO, or entrepreneur. Knowing which suits you and planning accordingly maximizes that success.
My definition of success is freedom of choice, from major decisions like health care and vacation to everyday choices like preparing meals at home or eating out.
Freelancers achieve success through smart personal investments and savings, CEOs through effective people management and profit maximization, and entrepreneurs through strategic business investments aligned with a theme that enhances cross-business growth.
Which role fits you best and why?
