Awesome. I am not an Ole Miss Rebel but I love this jamming session. Bring back Colonel Reb and these songs. It is disgraceful this cannot be played anymore. Rebel Yell!
When will the truth come out? This is a very deep song and as a black Mississippi Delta born, raised, reared, high school graduated, Arkansas Pine Bluff educated, live her today, educating the future man. This is deeper than what has been told and taught. We as black people have been done in under both flags just in different forms. With that being said; this is a beautiful song!!!!!!😆😆😆😆😆👏👏👏👏Honestly it's beautiful! I know odd coming from me!
Congratulations, you are one in a few who have been educated and not indoctrinated as to why the War of Northern Aggression took place, named called the Civil War. Had nothing to do with Slavery but the issue was the Morrell Tax which would have placed even a greater burden of taxes on the South already imposed. Unfortunately it has been noted that the winners of the war will write in their texts their views to explain the reason of the war. They would not convict Jefferson Davis of Treason because the US Supreme Court knew the United States had no valid reason and could not win. Martial Law was in affect thanks to Lincoln so he could impose the evil he so chose without worrying about the Constitution. Unfortunately, this was the beginning of tyranny thats exist even today. Regardless, the South may have not won the War, but we did not lose the fight. The Blood of Southerners runs deep and that blood will never die. Though our Confederate Ancestors fought the War of Northern Aggression, their blood was spilled but their Spirits still live--those spirits live in the descendants to this day and will never die--Away Dixieland!!! Forever and will never die where we Southerners TAKE OUR STAND!
I'd rather see a guy havin fun like that than deal with the punks I experienced at Georgia and Florida that only want to start a fight. With that being said, as a Vol fan this even makes the hair on my arms stand up. If you love the passion of college football, this is what it's all about. Good luck Rebs....and raise Hell Hoppy...whoever you may be....
The band is still great, politics just made it to end this beautiful lineup won't be played again... Won't stop me from jamming out in this track over and over. Dixie forever
Thank you! I was at the Grove last weekend and the number of ignorant people commenting about how the band wasn't worth listening to really made my angry. These students give it their ALL, every game, every Grove set, every time they have to perform and it gets old hearing people put the blame on the students for what music is and isn't played. They do an amazing job, and hopefully the "Dixie or nothing" crowd wm die off soon and we won't have to hear how awful things are without it. 🙄@@thetruthisonlyperspective4872
The first 1:34 of the set... What song is that? I can't find it anywhere on RUclips or Spotify looking for University of Mississippi Anthem, Ole Miss Anthem, Ole Miss school song, or other combinations. Hopefully someone here will know...
That’s the ole miss hype chorale, they play as a warmup at every game. Literally type in ole miss band grove show or something and I promise you’ll find it :)
ONLY reason FDWL no longer played @ OM Athletics Events is due to a few (yet very vocal) SELF - ABSORBED, IMMATURE OM Students!!! So typical...I was one but saw the BIGGER picture bk some 20+ yrs ago.

Southerners must refuse to give up their honorable heritage, we must resist liberal attacks on ancestors, our flag and our music!
