I have found the solution for my short Afro at last. It’s a generous helping of Jamaican black castor oil and green Eco gel. I also use the leave in conditioner every other day.
People aren't kidding when they say twa's feel/get dry quick, i do this same routine, minus the gel and sponge part, and my hair be feeling dry by the next day, whereas when my hair was longer i could get 2 to 3 days with the moisturized hair.
I just did the big chop my hair is the same length in the video. It is too short to braid. Even if it can braid the braids will be so tight. So how do you protect the hair from breakage/split ends/damage without braiding or wearing caps?
I love your hair, I'm going to try your shea butter mix and water, but my hair on the top is a different texture than the back and sides which are definitely 4c. hoping I can get the same results. (easy everyday twist out on short hair). thanks

Hey so you can wear a shower cap and Bring a piece of cloth or a towel and either soak it in hot or warm water or pour water in it and stick in the microwave and then wrap it around your hair and of course make sure it's not too hot or I heard somewhere that you can run your blowdrier over it for a bit

Was just tired of having to deal with different types of hair...I do have a question for you, I've did my hair care routine, my hair is soo soft when I moisturized it...today it feels so hard, but not dry...is that okay? Or is there something I can do to keep my hair soft.
No that’s normal. My hair feel dry to the touch but still moisturized... it’s an interesting feeling because most associate hard with dry but not taking into consideration that our hair is naturally kinky

I love the hair on you but I have a question for you.... I think that it looks great but my concern is that if you are not well dressed and your make up in not on point short hair can easily look neglectful...that is my concern ...I all the videos you are well dressed and your make up is perfect ....I think that it is more work in that sens ....you can not rely on your faithful pony tail and jogging ensemble when you have short hair ....don't you think so.

Maya Joseph . I agree with you. I've cut my hair for the second time. However I think I got away with a more casual look the first time 20 years ago. A bit of lip gloss and I was done. Now I feel more "presentable" when I'm wearing full make up outside the home. I still don't regret returning to the low cut ;-)
