- Hey loves! Today I’ll be giving you guys a few tips for after you big chop your hair! Hope this helps ♡
What I used was an eyebrow brush, brow scissors, a spooly, and an eyebrow razor. You can get all these products from your local beauty supply store for cheap!

I big chopped today but I can't get used to it I keep forgetting my hair is short untill I see my reflection anywhere and I stare into it like who is that. I genuinely hope it gets better 😩🙏🏿

I just got the big chop yesterday at the barbershop. It's actually shorter than yours. I'm loving it. I'm loving the fact that I live in Louisville Ky where everyone looks the same because people are looking! Lol. People are so small minded thinking that everyone should where weaves, wigs or roller wraps. I'm wearing huge hoop earrings and making sure that I keep my lipstick on. The wind feels amazing against my head now. Your video is great! It gives those of us who go against the grain feel better about the dramatic change of the big chop. And yes confidence is key!!!
How’s your hair journey going on now?
I big chopped my hair over the weekend and I am HAPPY with my decision. The people around me are very supportive and you’re right about the accessories I need some with a little makeup lol but you’re BEAUTIFUL 😍

I big chopped in Oct. 2018. I originally had a pixie cut, but the relaxers severely damaged my hair to the point I was afraid to put heat on it. I didn't go as short as you. I made sure the barber kept my hair long enough so I could be hair braided. My routine is wash and condition every week and moisturize everyday. I also use peppermint tea tree oil after I moisturize.

I just cut my hair but not that much off I loved it and went to show my mom she was surprised and I got a vibe that she didn’t like it but this video showed me that it doesn’t matter if they don’t like if as long as you like it❤️

My hair loves water so I wet my hair every shower, Cuz it’s super short, I can’t twist it or anything. I co-wash regular so it grows fast. Do shampoo once a week. Have been getting negative reactions from my family, cuz my family has long hair. I don’t care.

Yes I big chop my hair all over all the time. I use the clippers and keep it short. I use on comb 11/2 comb I do a m bb hij better job than my barber and don’t have to pay 25 dollars

Just because someone has the same hair type as you, dosent mean all their products will work for you.
Maybe you live in a diffrent place than they do. You may live in a hotter or colder place than they do.
I just chopped all my hair off !!! It’s as short as yours. I had trouble growing it before the chop but hopefully it will be able to flourish in growth within a few years 😁😁

renee Mitchell I have been following a routine which is something I didn’t do before I chopped it all off. I use to just go with the flow like when I felt that it was time to wash it I would wash it but quite often I left my hair not well moisturised. I think it’s been 7 months so far, it has grown tremendously, my hair is now able to be braided down and I’m able to get hairstyles like boxbraids. My hair cannot go in a ponytail yet but hopefully soon it will be able to. (I have 4b/4c hair) :)

@@solo.life.travels7215 i've noticed that my hair is growing once i actually set a routine and kept my hair moisturised and did protective styling. I grew up with short hair as well but thats only because i never knew how to do my own hair. yes you should wear wigs... i have been doing that also and i think that has helped with my hair growth. I wouldn’t say so because I wasn’t 100% confident myself when I first got it but I grew into it and I love it now.

No! I did it before, went lower than this and it grew out beautifully. Messed up and relaxed and now back to a fade.
Definitely not! I know for sure I wasn’t. But I feel after you do it, it helps you build your confidence!

I literally chopped off all my hair. With scissors. I was fed up with how nappy my hair was😂 I washed it. It was matted.. Its uneven right now . but its very curly and healthy looking. A but uneven. I wear half wigs daily. Have thinning hair in the front and in back where the combs are in a half wig. But my hairs covered . no one knows but my bf . I don't want my family to know. Or anyone else. But ill put my comment out in the public view😂😂 I keep my hair moisturized for sure! Its so soft

I brush it daily but not all the time cause i prefer my hair curly I have short curls right now
