    We've done 4 cruises, 3 in a outside windowed cabin and 1 interior. 1 annoying thing that I hadn't thought about until we stayed in an interior cabin, you will have no mobile signal at all, well not on the ship we were on ( Explorer 2 ). So if you are used to waking up when the ship is already in port and laying in bed catching up on things on your phone, you may well find you can't do that until you make your way up to breakfast. That was our experience although it may be different on other ships ( but I doubt it ). Not a deal breaker ( we have an interior cabin booked on Arvia for next May ) , just something I hadn't considered.

      This is a very good point and certainly something to consider, I for one do like to scroll on my phone whilst the kids are still sleeping and inside cabins are a big bear for this.
      Thank you for watching.

    Great video guys, really handy! We thought and assumed that all outside cabins had a seat by the window, feel that P&O should make it clearer that this isn't the case - so thank you for drawing attention to it! We actually really like the sheltered balcony cabins lower down, this is what we're staying in when we go on Arvia in November :) looks nice, but still don't know what the interior designers were thinking when they decided not to put any drawers in!
    It's great that P&O are still offering free movies on demand, hopefully they don't start charging like other cruise lines (we wouldn't put it past them though).

      Agreed it’s advertised as all but it’s definitely two are maybe a few more, poor really, but we do love those cabins.

    Hi Guys, great video. However, your review of the larger interior is *not* a larger interior. It's a common misconception that the square style interior cabins are the larger ones. In fact they are just alternate layout standard interior. The larger interior are longer rectangular ones that are almost identical to a balcony, but without the balcony (even to the fact some of them even have the curtain where the balcony would be!

      Hi, thanks for watching, so deck 9 and up you won’t have anyone walking past and all balcony rooms will have a great view other than those which will tell you they have an obstructed view 🙂

      Hi! Me and my family just booked a cruise holiday for this coming Christmas on arvia and we booked a balcony cabin for deck 9. I would recommend anything above 9 as nine can see a lot of the promenade below. There is nothing in the way of the view, but you can easily see the promenade so it looks a little disturbing. Also it may be very loud being on deck 8, 9 and possibly 10. We are trying to change to a higher room than 9 because of the view. Hope this helped!

    Hi never been on a cruise but like ideas of balcony. Looking at ships plan can’t decide between deck 8 or 9 or higher
    Also midship has been recommended. We are going on arvia med cruise so could be rough and my husband is not a good traveller on sea. He was seasick on board Thompson spirit when it was moored in larnika when we got grounded due to the volcano many years ago
    Please can you advise me

    • @cruisingwiththe4bs
      @cruisingwiththe4bs  7 месяцев назад

      So our advice would be go midship and deck 8/9 would be fine, Arvia is so big that you will hardly feel the movement, I recall one day watching the waves crashing and thinking it doesn’t even feel
      Like the ship is moving. Thanks for watching have a great cruise.

      @@cruisingwiththe4bs We had our first cruise this Sept on SKY PRINCESS where we stayed in a Mini Suite which was extremely spacious and comfortable. Obviously being our first cruise you learn as you go along regarding drinks packages etc… We had the Plus drinks package where we could drink 15 drinks in a 24hr period up to $15. The most I ever got to was 10/15 drinks as not a huge beverage consumer. All in all was a fabulous cruise and the food was excellent.
      We are now looking at our next Cruise & in particular P&O IONA/ARVIA for the Canaries in January and Fjords in June. They say you either love or hate Cruising, we absolutely loved it and can’t wait to get back out to the high seas🚢🌊🛟
