Destroy and Recycle-It’s been a destructive week

  • There’s a lot of destruction in here. We had a large cast iron machine delivered in several large parts, one weighed almost twenty tonnes. I broke all of them into easily handled pieces with one of my four tonne balls. The first clip is of us pushing a large heat exchanger off a low loader, it was heavily insulated, unfortunately, I didn’t manage to record the removal of the insulation. I loaded the insulation into a skip for disposal and there was almost two tonnes, and it was dry at that.
    I unloaded a stepframe semi trailer off a stepframe trailer, after burning it in half so that it would fit in the Copex box we sheared it, the Copex made light work of compressing it and then shearing it. The processed scrap was on the docks in Liverpool the same day.

    Yeah that was a good video breaking up that heavy cast from heavy equipment but the video stopped. I wanted to see you crush that big chunk that you said was solid. That would have been interesting, but other than that, good video. 👍👍🙂🇨🇦

    Was that long piece aluminum or stainless or just tin?
